This is talent hell I can barely dip my nails in the powder without it looking all wonky lol also filing dip powder I find it to be hard i always end up filing the powder off any tips? I use the activator first before I file but it still takes off the color

Some of my dip powder applications look pretty bad before filing 😂 this was a really good design with dip powder, but I’ve improved my dip powder filing A LOT since this video! So activator just makes sure the dip powder is fully dry before you file. I’ve skipped it before and sometimes the dip powder just clumps away instead of becoming fine dust, meaning it wasn’t completely dry. You can try encapsulating with clear dip powder over top of your color to prevent filing the color. Personally I skip this and add an extra colored layer just to make sure I don’t file off the part of the color I need to stay on the nail
