My local sewing shop has that last fabric you purchased, with the sunsets/mountains etc! I’m so tempted to get it to make a Sew Over It Ava skirt, but a coat is a fantastic idea!!! Think I might have to go get some very soon. Thank you for continuing to produce great content despite everything you have going on ❤❤
Love, love the Xmas fleece. Georgous velvet plisse and what a bargain and cannot wait to see your Zebra coat. I adore the fabric from G&G - one day I may get to that shop!! I live in hope. And please don’t worry about mentioning the weight loss - which I know is not easy to do. It is very relevant to sewing as any weight/shape change has an impact on our garment making. Enjoy the NEC and happy sewing😊. Lynne
good haul! totally influenced by you and just about to buy that beautiful jacquard from Guthrie Ghani! I need to get my gingerbread fleece top out, thanks for the reminder 😅 Ive made the style arc besharl fabric in a lovely fleece which may work well in the Christmas tree fleece, it's a cosy pattern.
Hi Adele, 👋Debbie here, sounds a fabulous day….great to hear you are still maintaining your weight loss…so important to keep healthy especially as you have so much going on. Look forward to seeing the coat, would like to try the Nova coat myself at some point x x
How do they do it? You would not find fabric at these low prices where I live in southern Germany. Are they good quality? You put so much work in your lovely makes, it would really be a shame if the fabrics were not worth all the effort. …..please don’t get started on this weight loss rubbish. It is soooooo boring.
It’s not boring, what you call ‘this weight loss rubbish,’ to some of us. If you are happy with your weight that’s great but some people aren’t and for them trying to lose weight is a big effort, so if/when they are successful they’ll naturally be pleased and mention it. Lots of bloggers mention things I’m not remotely interested in e.g. their pets. But I can happily ignore it if they start to talk about their dog needing to go to the vet or having to be put down etc. I kindly suggest you do the same where ‘this weight loss rubbish’ is concerned. P.S. Well done, Adele, on your weight loss. It’s clear that it means a lot to you and you feel happier for it. A happier Adele means a happier family and a happier sewer!
@@hf3739 I agree, but it is boring nevertheless. It seems to be a serious problems for a lot of sewists. But I am only interested in sewing and I want to learn new things. Otherwise I would watch videos on diets.
@@henriettejosephine You say this seems to be a serious problem for some people who sew but maybe the fact that they’re making garments for their own body, which they’ve been unhappy about - or else why would they try to lose weight- forces them to face facts about their body in a way that a gardening vlog or home decorating vlog wouldn’t? I still think you need to exercise a bit of patience. I mean it’s not as if the sewing bloggers who do mention weight loss allow that topic to take over their vlog, is it?

I made a black and white long coat quite some time ago and chose a pink lining 🩷 as another idea 😇
Amazing idea x
