Hi Andrew Just a quick update Been Queen is looking great. I’m a gardener myself and in terms of begging of the growing season I only had a few bumble bees but lately I’m counting more as things continue to grow . I just love to sit and watch them work. Doing back stitching is a little intimidating but I’m cracking on . 123!stitch has new stock of the Bellaphiliapinia coming soon . It’s right up your alley.

Winston does kinda steal the show haha. Yes, those days are rare, but it was just so lovely. The dragons are close! I'll get them back out in September for the final stretch of daily stitches ha. Her patterns are amazing! Lots of colors changes which I'm not always in the mood for, but the results are worth it! Samantha is such an enabler with her fantastic stitching of Nora Corbett! I'm nervous about the pillows, but I've been watching all the tutorials and I think I understand the principle ha. We will see! So cool that was your Grandfather's birthday also! Loved the arch story about the Battenburg cake it was my favourite. We used to get it at marks and spencer when it was in Canada. The story brought back memories of buying it with my mom. Your stitching is beautiful. The detail in the Winston stitch is amazing. Have a great vacation

I had to keep rewinding to hear what you were talking about because I got distracted by Winston’s adorable teeth! And then his little (well, huge) ears would pop out and I’d get distracted again. I'd forgotten how lifelike that Winston project is. Nice progress on your Wips. I can't imagine running in the heat and humidity. I went for a walk yesterday and that was bad enough. I hope to run again soon. I've had a few days with my foot feeling fine. It was a little sore again after group training this morning, but has settled back down. I used my birthday money to get a Lowery Stand because my left hand has been giving me problems. It's an adjustment using it but I'm getting used to it. The cat doesn't think much of it since she can't get as much attention with my project in the way. Have a great trip and birthday!

@@therunnerstitcher I haven't had trouble with it shaking. I was having trouble with the q snap staying in place with the normal clamp but adding non skid shelf liner to the clamp seems to help for the most part. And I needed to get the longer L bar

I'm getting to the point (at sneaking up on 70 years young) where I have to be realistic on my lifetime stash amount LOL. So glad "Lady" found a home with you. Oh Andrew...I love the Lady of Shalott. I had the print 'I Am Half-Sick of Shadows, Said the Lady of Shalott' painted by John William Waterhouse in my dinning room for many years. We actually have the original painting here in Toronto at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Your stitching pieces are coming along great and I love the L.D. I love Teresa Wentzler too. I have yet to finish one but have a couple started. I was lucky enough to take a class from her years ago. She was the one that gave me the freedom that my back did NOT have to be super neat.

I had to keep rewinding to hear what you were talking about because I got distracted by Winston’s adorable teeth! And then his little (well, huge) ears would pop out and I’d get distracted again. He’s so handsome!!! ARGH I can’t believe I missed you at the Midsummer Stitch! But I also love that the community is so huge that it’s even hard to run into people in a small event like that, you know? Wow, you’re really cooking along on SAGA - and so glad you won’t have a fabric shortage on it!

The flowers in Queen Bee look like Moon Daisy’s. Your back on the arches sewing looks fantastic and so neat, I am envious. I'd forgotten how lifelike that Winston project is. Nice progress on your Wips. I can't imagine running in the heat and humidity. I went for a walk yesterday and that was bad enough. I hope to run again soon. I've had a few days with my foot feeling fine. It was a little sore again after group training this morning, but has settled back down. I used my birthday money to get a Lowery Stand because my left hand has been giving me problems. It's an adjustment using it but I'm getting used to it. The cat doesn't think much of it since she can't get as much attention with my project in the way. Have a great trip and birthday!

@@therunnerstitcher I haven't had trouble with it shaking. I was having trouble with the q snap staying in place with the normal clamp but adding non skid shelf liner to the clamp seems to help for the most part. And I needed to get the longer L bar
Glad you like her! I have done two TWs (The Castle and Millenium) with "Peacock Tapestry" in the 'future pictorials' list. I'm getting to the point (at sneaking up on 70 years young) where I have to be realistic on my lifetime stash amount LOL. So glad "Lady" found a home with you.

I have realized I missed your last video! Aghhhhh how dare I. I have been so diligent with your channel since day 1. To be fair to myself, I am realizing summer is more of a stitchy downtime for me. I watch baseball every night and spend all my free time in the garden, no complaints tho 😊 And now I’m off to find the vegetarian alternative for our Pixel Dragon (thanks for that reminder many weeks ago!) thank you for sharing Andrew and until the next stitch :)

Oh Andrew...I love the Lady of Shalott. I had the print 'I Am Half-Sick of Shadows, Said the Lady of Shalott' painted by John William Waterhouse in my dinning room for many years. We actually have the original painting here in Toronto at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
Your stitching pieces are coming along great and I love the L.D. Saga story....might have to look into maybe one day stitching it.

Hi Andrew and of course Winston. I was cracking up when Winston was posing on your lap when his teeth sticking out. He looked like he was smiling showing his teeth. My son’s dog also has the same issue with her bottom teeth. I think it gives them character. I love how your Saga is coming along and I love it when you read the story for each part. You need to keep the story with the piece when you are finished with it. I love your Dragon Pixel it is coming out really cut. Gaia is beautiful, I can’t wait to see her finished. Your Winston pillow is going to look great as a pillow. All your WIPS are amazing. I am jealous with how much you get accomplished.
