Cool bike, very stylish. I bought XL1200T and installed the same seat and one-piece sissy bar - simplest way to get comfortable and practical Sportster for daily riding. And removed the windshield completely due to wind buffeting and summer heat.
Wow bro! Awesome iron!!!! I definitely need to buy this setup! I have an iron 883 and almost bought the 48 today but backed out. Not enough differences to justify the price other than the power which doesn’t bother me at all. Iron 883 for life! I like being different!

What are your saddlebags? Had 04 883 4.5gal, forward controls, leather like bags, 1 piece 2up sundowner, QR backrest w/luggage rack, Lg leatherup bag, National cycle Wave windshield(wasn't called wave back then) The Sundowner was "the seat", my brother got 1 for 2013 1200c and it sucked.....Harley had changed manufacturers and decided to push the new ones off on 09 and newer 1200c......even a different part number.......I traded my 883 in for K 900 and switched back to stock seat and gave brother my sundowner that fit his bike perfectly Now I've got a 19 1200 iron and saddlemen stepup seat and it sucks, I've been debating on getting the Sundowner solo, but afraid it would suck like my brothers and there's no way to check it out without paying for it......like my brother then you're stuck If you aren't having a passenger it would be cheaper to buy a fender bib or even a fender luggage rack instead of pillion I've been riding for so long on bikes that I can't get the windshield I want.......I've just been wearing full face(modular) and enjoy it more......except in the rain......I even had lowers fit on my engine guards on the 883, definitely something to look into, off and on easy, roll up put in bag I guess your turn signal running/brake light is on the license frame
I purchased a 2022 Iron 883 a week ago. I don't have it yet as I'm having them do a few things on it. I plan to do these same mods to mine. What are those hard saddle bags? I like them. And where in the heck are your rear turn signals and brake light??? Lol.
I haven’t taken it over 1,000 miles in one day. My trips are about 400-500 miles. But it feels great. I am thinking about the 17” windscreen that Memphis Shades sell for the fairing

The crash bar I have on there comes with rubber foot rest that function like highway pegs. I just didn’t care for the look so I left them off. I do still use the crash bar to prop my feet up on long rides.

The crash bar I have on there comes with rubber foot rest that function like highway pegs. I just didn’t care for the look so I left them off. I do still use the crash bar to prop my feet up on long rides.
A Honda Rebel 1100 copy cat at twice the price and less reliability. Another costly crap bike.
