You're a really, really smart man. You'll go very, very far & high in life with that mindset. I really hope my daughters have the same mindset you have when they go to college. The thing is that the NAIA doesn't have Women's ice hockey & my girls are passionate about Ice hockey & can't imagine doing any other sport than Ice hockey. Hopefully, the NAIA will have Ice Hockey by the time they reach College age (which will be 13 years from now).
Not that I got any NCAA offers (I got multiple NAIA offers), but I would’ve chosen NAIA anyways because I think it credits hard work from high school. Anybody can go to most state schools (which are mainly D1/2 schools), but it’s often harder to get into schools associated in NAIA and it looks a lot better on a resume. I had a cumulative GPA of 4.0 in high school and was class rank #1. It does my hard work justice by choosing a private NAIA school that’s harder to get into rather than choosing a NCAA D1/2 or JUCO because almost anyone could get into one of those.
In case you didn't know, a vast majority of NFL and pro players are absolutely GARBAGE with managing money and often go broke/bankrupt within 3 years after being in the league. So yea, education ALWAYS prevails over athletics.
Since this video is gaining some traction, make sure to ask around to people from all sorts of school, that’s one thing I left out of this video!!
Wats the song called bro
Naia also got the marathon
Oooh
The main reason I’m leaning towards NAIA
can you explain this please?
What is this?
You're right. I was thinking the same when I had to choose college. I prefer staying in a easy place with no too many people.
This actually helped a lot, love your Channel keep up the good work
Thanks man! Means a lot
Love the content. Keep up the great work! I ran track and played basketball at an NAIA. ✊🏾

If you go to a NAIA school rather than an NCAA school, can you still compete in the same races. (states championships)
Yes, it’s up to your coaches and athletic directors but if you need/want to race in other races you can!
There is no state championships in college!
Grand Valley State U is a big school. Enrollment is approximately 25,000.
I’m going to a NAIA Division I for T&F hope it’s the right thing to do.
Definitely!! Good luck and I’m sure it’s the right thing!
I am choosing a D3 and my dream school to keep up with my major and sports I can't wait got any tips?

naia has a lower grade requirement then ncaa d1 to play college athletics
@@georgecabany4373 depends on the school though. There’s a good bunch that are incredibly hard to get into
@@northlandwiffle got ya
Lmao no.. anyone cannot just "get into a division 1 school".. especially not for athletics nor academics
@@andrewhudson7092 if you can’t get into a state school, then you’ve got a problem lol
🔥🔥🔥
Hey bro one or two questions: will there be scouts from nba in naia and will get a chance getting into nba through naia?
yes, every year there are naia nba players, I believe my school has 3 that have made it!
@@reeecemichael thanks for answering G

Even in the NAIA you can not accept a cash prize of $50 in a race while you are eligible!

The intro song??
Now you are less likely to go to the NFL
Really? How many college kids actually go to the NFL? Please talk to an older coach who knows...not just what you hear on line.
