It's like these guys were snatched out of time from the 70's (in a good way). There's nothing pretentious or fake about their music. It's all genuine and very believable . They're not "mimicking" Southern Rock. They ARE Southern Rock.
Every time I listen to BBS, I feel like a 10 year old kid back in the 70's again. Back when the music was good, and tracked live on tape. BBS is pure joy and a blessing in a world of largely crappy music.

Too much crap 'made' on iPhones, laptops, and no real instruments or talent. Even going back and listening to bands or artists I wasn't really interested in I can now see.....at least they had talent, they were real and honest. BSS lives up to my standards lol

I accidentally discovered them several years ago as well. They opened for the Zac Brown Band, Zac produced one of their early records. They sounded better than Zac Brown and I have been a huge fan ever since.
Their first Shed show was opening for another band I love, Cross Canadian Ragweed. They stole the show then as well. They have been a Shed fixture ever since.
My son and I made our first Blackberry Smoke show when he was 14 at The Shed. On May 14th his daughter will make her Shed debut to see the world's greatest and most fan friendly band. Introducing my grand daughter to our favorite venue and our favorite band is something I have been wanting to do ever since she was born. The fans of Blackberry Smoke are like a big family too. Great times.

I grew up near Chattanooga and live near Atlanta now. I would travel long distances to see them. The world needs a lot more of this music! I've been listening to them for a long time but wasn't able to get to a show. It was my favorite show and I've seen several big name shows. I feel like they revived Southern Rock but it transcends different cultures also. That is evident with people from all over the world that love them. Keep rockin' brother! See you in May
My wife and I live in Missouri but my mother-in-law lives in Maryville so we have seen two shows at the Shed (it is the best venue)! We also saw their show in Kansas City and that time we got to meet them backstage. They are really genuine guys and so down to earth.
We actually lucked out and a friend and coworker had 4 tickets for the 7th and gave them to me. So I was able to give away the one ticket for Saturday night to someone who has never saw them before. We had a great time each weekend and my grandbabies absolutely love concerts and Blackberry Smoke. Everly made friends with so many of the brothers and sisters.
BlackBerry Smoke is the best. Thinking back too a time I took my late Wife to see them in Renfro Valley Kentucky . She enjoyed the show and especially when I hollered at Charlie before the show outside and he ran over too the fence and talked to us and I gave him a Jack Smith CD. too listen to. Blackberry Smoke is unlike most other bands I've listened to - they're not afraid to speak their mind on people who look down on the South and Southerners, and casually have us all head-banging while they do it.
I just love that band so much! Saw them in Montreal the day before everything was shot down because of covid.... My Last real moment of freedom was with them.

I have been a huge fan of Southern Rock since the early 70's when Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker Band, Black Oak Arkansas, Wet Willie, Johnny Winter, ZZ Top and (a bit later) Stevie Ray Vaughan was the music of the day! And Blackberry Smoke is today's perfect reincarnation/reinvigoration of this wonderful "Southern Feeling" we all LOVE in music! This great mix of Blues, Boogie Rock, Blues Boogie, Gospel, Soul, Funk, Country & Folk music that ALL merges into this wonderful thing called Southern Rock is just AMAZING! Love you Blackberry Smoke!

I have been a huge fan of Southern Rock since the early 70's when Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker Band, Black Oak Arkansas, Wet Willie, Johnny Winter, ZZ Top and (a bit later) Stevie Ray Vaughan was the music of the day! And Blackberry Smoke is today's perfect reincarnation/reinvigoration of this wonderful "Southern Feeling" we all LOVE in music! This great mix of Blues, Boogie Rock, Blues Boogie, Gospel, Soul, Funk, Country & Folk music that ALL merges into this wonderful thing called Southern Rock is just AMAZING! Love you Blackberry Smoke!
