I felt that recently, but in a different way. 9 shots, no cover into a Phase 2. 7 shields, 2 surges, and of course, they were able to borrow someone else's surge so...exhaustion and pain indeed.
GG guys. I always love starting off my week with your games. I think the Salt Cape wouldn't be a bad idea. I think he needs a salt scepter, though. Make it a small like lightsaber like Yoda's or Ahsoka's shoto saber. Then, for the final salty touch, Salt Dice. At this highest state of salt Don rolls nothing but white dice regardless of what his dice pools say. Bonus points if you custom print them to replace the paint with salt shaker icons.
While it is true that Tauns fold if shot before they activate and dodge-up, this just showed how hard they do hit. They are a glass cannon unit for sure. No salt cape. Don is a good sport for wearing the crown. I don’t think we should ask more than that.
Great game! I enjoy all yours battles. Im afraid hostage unit cant starts a mele. Force push cant push hostage unit into a mele. This maul brings dirty tricks. 😊

I think a "Salt Scepter" would be most appropriate. I would suggest both a cape and a scepter to go with the crown and then roll to see which one he wears, but he'd probably roll a blank then, too. :)
Top 8 breakdown was 4 quad bike lists, one double dark trooper list, one anakin/padme list, runner up was a black sun party bus +maul, and winner was double bounty sniper spam imp list (cool idea to counteract the quad bikes that were so prevalent). While I would like to see some empire nerfs in general, I hope they dont change things too drastically and break another faction or destroy imp winrates in the process.
Always a bummer to see a game decided so early on. Great job trying to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat and I'm glad to see you guys still had a fun game!
Just FYI - I don't think you mentioned it specifically but it looks like on a few Tauntaun moves that you are purposely making two full speed moves to gain "Ram", whereas you only actually need to make one full speed move to get it.
I’m bringing a double bus black sun list to a local tournament, I hope my busses don’t get one turned like don. If they do get destroyed I may need to borrow dons salt cape.
If you ever have a city/town battle you can have it at a place named Salt Cape :D. Also had a rules question, with Sabine's bombs you mentioned that Deflect doesn't work now because it is range attack only, but looking at Area Weapons on Pg. 54 it says that "Attacks made by area weapons are always ranged attacks." so shouldn't deflect proc for that?
Great game guys, i didn't know that transported units lost their activation when their transport gets destroyed. Good to know! I wouldn't go and make a salt cape tshirt just yet, i think Don was a great sport continueing after turn 1 and 2

Absolute mad lad running triple Tauntauns lol i know theu were absolutely oppresive in their prime but I think theyve been in timeout long enough. They need another slight tweak to bring them back into the meta.

I have a lot of empathy for the bus getting one-rounded. I brought one the other day in a grand army battle, and made basically the same mistake. And then the Rebel Vets I had in the bus got killed by my opponent's next activation. And then the first activation of the next round got my Air Speeder killed. After that I did pretty well (with my remaining 1200 points, lol) but predictably lost. I almost wanted my own salt cape after that first round though.
Assault Cape. I just think that you need to have some long range firepower, the tauns made it in and that was that. You have to kill the Hand to hand troops as quick as possible. The bus just doesn't have the firepower.
The combined weight of the salt crown and the salt cape seemed to overwhelm Don on that last roll. Heavy is the burden of the salt king. Those speeders have such an amazing range, even on Long March, it’s hard to stay away from them.
My thoughts on up close vs situational is if she is taking the dodge action she is not impacting the board as much, with up close you are at least getting 2 suppression out and 2 dodges, personally I’m fine rolling a dice every once in a while on a stray crit because of the serging red dice and impervious/ immune melee pierce
With prepared supply, and her three pip… and hopefully another way in more list to give dodges. I don’t normally takes dodges to much with her. I use her more for her speed and obj grabbing, and melee if needed. Thanks for watching! -Joe

UCAP triggers on arsenal, split fire and gunslinger thanks to this wording

I m not sure but i think they changed gunslinger to only count as one attack and therefore not trigger up close and personal twice. I may be incorrect on that one however. Sometimes I also feel like I m in need of a salt cape and crown when getting absolutely destroyed by my dice. However I liked the gameplay and i really thought maul might be able to change something before he got all the dmg
something minor with explosions. a move or action needs to happen before you can detonate it. So you would technically have to arm then swing. It doesn't matter most of the time but occasionally it does come up and could get you got in a tournament
Not following, her card gains the action “arm 2” and it stated “after she performs this action” so you would have to swing, arm, then free move away gained from care then detonate. This was done correctly. Thanks for watching! -Joe
