    Guys, thanks, that you've clicked this monster of a video! I wanted to keep it modest, but there were so many watches and so many informations around them. Editing kept me awake an entire night and I bet you will find some errors.
    The plan was to keep the segment of every watch relatively short though. But if you miss some informations, then feel free to ask here in the comments.
    Enjoy the ride! ;-)

      Like many people I'm in one of those
      periods where I'm 'out of love' with watches in general. I wear a 1962 Certina; everything else is in boxes and hasn't been looked at for almost a month.
      Neverthless, during this hiatus, your's is the only watch vlog I can still bear to watch. I suspect I'm not the only one who goes through the 'watch blues' every so often.
      Top show as usual Tim.

The number fade away but I will restore later.. Got new battery SR1136SW it got step down voltage to 1.35V. Now 2 weeks already and the movement is good smooth as butter. Do you know if this can be done by a watchmaker ( if you have a recommandation online btw...) for models that don't have factory transparent caseback ?
      For example for the Seagull, I imagine it's possible to swap the caseback with one of the clear caseback produced for the many otherd 1963 watches. But I suspect it's a different story for watches that don't have factory.made clear casebacks.

    The value in the precimax is essentially in the gold. These old swiss brands do not have much resale value. I had a Desta which was an older swiss brand. It was 18K and a beautiful dress watch. Sold it for the gold value but this was before e-bay.

    Your ethics in not accepting money or free watches make a difference: you have a credibility which some other commentators don't have.
    I think it's an error to call any wristwatch steampunk. Almost by definition, steampunk means pendant or pocket watches; those bronze gauges are, of worn on the wrist, definitely dieselpunk.

    • @CasebackWatches
      @CasebackWatches  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Absolutely Dieselpunk! Normally I use that term.

      Lynette from Time Commanders? Cool!
      Anyway, isn't dieselpunk more along the lines steel stuff? While classic pocket watches match the era steampunk is based on, they kind of fall short of the over the top parts of the aesthetic, which doesn't really match the historical era all that well.

    Where can one find a Tissot banana for around 100 euros? On ebay they are way more expensive 🙂

    Random Q I bought a Stowa Antea for Christmas, what are your thoughts on Bauhaus watches?

    • @CasebackWatches
      @CasebackWatches  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I find Bauhaus watches sometimes a bit boring, but certainly not the Antea! That piece brings some character with it. Well done!

    I think you are wearing the watch too low. That is the reason of bracelet stretch.
