Got back from there early Sunday morning.Nice place. No complaint's. Worth the $800 p.p. As far as Diamond club. We got it. Didn't think it was worth it.

Love all your videos homie! You and your wife answer all the most basic and simple and random questions that we all have but never shown on other channels. Like travel time if you take a cab over bus. What it cost for the return back to resort if you took a cab. Prices for drinks and loungers and menu photos. Seriously, all questions that we have but never answered. Going to check out all your Memories Caribe this week to get more tips and opinions. We live in Vancouver and been to Cayo Santa Maria four times and Varedero twice. Unfortunately Santa Maria my fav place to vacation is no longer a destination available from the west coast. So Cayo Coco is taking the lead for a late November or early February trip. And Memories Caribe is getting the best reviews. Just deciding now if the extra $300 for a week if I go solo is worth Diamond Club. I’ve seen your video on it and it seems the rooms are the same. Just a better beach grill and pre booked a La cartes. Just seems like not much for the extra $300. i went there last xmas and i miss cuba !! lol i wasn't diamond club but sat there with my friends parents :) but everything was great, the pizza at the beach was pretty good !

@MR-gp9ys -thanks! We both brought a bottle of vodka, beef jerkey, snacks (you won't find a lot of snacks off resort) instant Cesar mi, condiments. Don't count on ketchup mustard etc so if it's important bring it with you. Mosquito repellent. We used Natrapel and did well with that. Bring an insulated cup like a yeti or a Bubba mug and sun block. Also bring any ant-acids, Aspirin or any meds you might need with you. Food shortages are hard to predict and may only last a few days or a week and may not always be the same things. We have been fortunate so far and haven't really noticed a lot of food shortages when we have been in Cuba. Also bring extra toiletries for both men and women. We brought a bunch down and gave them out through the week and the people genuinely appreciated it. We ave booked this resort for February. We have been to Cuba before. I keep hearing 2 things about this resort that I am curious about......a lot of mosquitoes due to the lagoon and a sewage smell? Can you please let me know.
@jenjim1999 we can only comment on what we saw when we were there at Easter. Having said that, the mosquitos at times were noticeable as were the noseums at the beach. Both bad only at dusk and dawn. We used Natrapel from Canadian Tire and didn't really get any bites as long as we applied it. Others who didn't fare so well. The sewage smell was noticeable in only certain areas. We noticed it more between buildings 19 and 22. Faint but noticeable. All in all both of those things weren't deal breakers for us and may be better or worse depending on the time of year. Hope that helps. We have a bunch of videos on that property on our channel if you want to see more of the property and things to do. Beach is gorgeous. Food was pretty good for Cuba. Hi. Glad you guys are enjoying your time at the memories caribe. Is it true that there are no doors in the washroom. Is there rooms that come with a door, or are they the same. Thank you
@summersuliman9349 both rooms we were in had basically the same layout. The bathroom is divided in two. The toilet has its own frosted glass door so that will be private. The sink and shower are open concept with no door separating it from the rest of the room. What is awkward is that as you open the door to enter the room, if someone was in the shower, you would see them.. Something to think about if you are travelling with a friend OR when you are travelling by yourself and you can't hear the maid knock lol. hope that helps. @belliott4844 we had a room at the Grand Serenis in Mexico that had a diamond shaped window in the wall beside the bed that looked right into the bathroom. You could literally see the person on the toilet from the main room. 😂 We asked for a room that didn't have a window like that but all the rooms were the same. Love Karen but don't need to see her doing her business 😂😂. Cheers

Some of the RIU bathrooms are like that. When I travel with friends, one sits on the balcony and has a drink while the other gets ready.
