The Americans sounded the smartest in this vid. We love, love, love the American accent in Argentina….!!! 😂😂😂🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ It sounds Brazilian Portuguese to us. I guess that’s why Bossa Nova is sung in Brazilian Portuguese and American English…🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️The ugliest accents are Australian and New Zealand… Sorry for offending anyone. We are the yanks of South America… The Brit’s? Well, we have history… 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️😂😂😂
Contrary to popular belief: Americans are fascinated by people from other countries; more of us exercise than what's assumed by others abroad; being outgoing and extroverted (or as you all say "loud") can be an asset in establishing networks, friendships, and alliances in a heterogeneous culture; we don't "all have guns" - repeat - we don't "all have guns," in fact, many of us hate gun violence; many of us also enjoy silence and solitude (shocker!); the majority of us don't have passports because the travel industry in America is actually quite expensive and we aren't surrounded by four or six nations at any given time; we're educated, but unfortunately there isn't a nationalized way of paying for education, it's done by property tax, and many Americans hate that. Overall, it is as bigoted to rejoice in saying "Americans are fat, loud, and dumb" as it is bigoted to make assumptions about the Germans, French, Australians, and Canadians. And before anyone says, "It's just in good fun; we're taking the piss at Americans." You know, it's not in good fun. I've been to 12 countries in my life, I'm curious about people abroad - I enjoy it, in fact - and in my entire life I've never seen Americans chilling out laughing about how (fill in the blank) group of people represents a long list of flaws and annoyances. Shit, even when Americans are friendly, we're accused of being fake. If bigotry is wrong against Europeans, Asians, Africans, Australians, Pacific Islanders, and Latin Americans, then that same bigotry against Americans is equally wrong. So yeah, we're aware that you hate Americans. Finally, it's a bit of a paradox on how you don't want Americans traveling to your countries, but then you declare how Americans don't travel. Kind regards, A Fat Loud Dumb American
Also the bit about Americans having no culture does irk me, because it's completely untrue. For example, Black culture here is a uniquely American creation that's expressed in things like arts, food, dialect, and especially that music all y'all love to listen to. And it's a point of pride for us to have this rich cultural history. To write us off as 'cultureless' isn't cute, it's genuinely insulting...
@@jonahmiller5881 Agreed, 100% There's Appalachian culture, the Gullah culture of South Carolina, Creole, and Pennsylvanian Dutch cultures too! I'm not even saying America is the best country in the world; I don't think any country is. However, that look of disgust from the Irish-British woman when she mentioned American tourists was offensive. It was as if Americans were roaches! So not cool.
You don't have a gun? *throws all my guns in the gun cabinet and under the bed* Guns aren't all about gun violence. Most are used in collections, for hunting, protection, or shooting at ranges. Hobby type actions. Very few end up used for gun violence.
I think there’s a difference between making fun of someone out of love and making fun of them for negative reasons. Plus it’s not like there aren’t a ton of Americans who cause trouble, you can’t blame people for being frustrated. The important thing is not to judge the whole by the actions of a few.
The Canadian guy just confirmed to me that pretty much ALL Canadians and Americans think that British = English. Scotland, and Wales are as British as England. I've never ONCE heard an American or Canadian refer to a Scottish person as British. They're clearly confused about this.
@@rollingthunderinho we are not taught that lmao but it is a common misconception because most of the British representation we know is from England but British is someone from the United Kingdom, so anyone from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland would be British

@@abshaar13 It’s true that English is not a common native language in India. But it is considered an English speaking country because English is an official language there. So technically not a foreign language. However only around 10% of people can speak it there. Which still means more English speakers than any of these places except USA.
There are a bunch of English speaking countries in the Caribbean and Africa that you did not include. Including countries with MUCH larger numbers of English speakers than most of the countries (and non countries like Northern Ireland, Wales, etc) that you included. As an American, I think the loud Americans people are encountering have to be from the northeast (New York and thereabouts). The rest of us aren't that loud. I can hear northeasterners from miles away, ugh. 🙄🙄🙄 As for the rest... Most of the UK is either posh and gentlemanly, or...the people who end up on Jeremy Kyle. I definitely feel the "Americans of Europe" comment about England, they seem to be getting increasingly afflicted with the problems America has. Everyone's comments on Canada in the video are spot-on. I'm genuinely fond of most Canadians, they're more similar to us than any other countries, so I joke about moose and "sorry!" and maple syrup with my Canadian friends, but if anyone else is mean to them I am NOT having it, lol. Australia and New Zealand seem to just get incredibly wasted drunk. Don't know why everyone associates drinking with Ireland, it's Aussies and Kiwis making a dent on alcohol reserves. I once read that Australians are just British Texans and I feel like that's pretty accurate. Irish people are very funny, they've got a wicked sense of humor that I just love. Scottish people too, usually.
Did the Australians really just say the New Zealanders were rough around the edges when Australia is filled with ferals who think drinking alcohol out of their own shoes is normal?

Now DBB is now on the Anglophone world
Yes for a week before we move on to the Philippines and then France 😊
Was dying to hear one of them say "got any grease? THEN GREASE ME UP WOMAN!"
"Okie dokie."
That English girl though
Bit of a minger.
It's tragic that South Africans weren't included. As an Australian they are the only English speaking peoples who I think are more masculine than us. And their accent comes first I'll admit, with Australian coming close second
I think they were going for countries where English is the main first language for everyone.
I agree, they should have been included.
south african sounds utterly terrible. what?
English isnt even the main language of white south africans let alone tge majority. You are slow
@@wolfcat87and white with blood ties south africa doesn't fit the bill nowadays
Canadian Australia New Zealand and some parts of America are still majority anglo celtic ancestry
10:07 I lost it right there. 🤣🤣🤣
I want to visit too many countries ahhhh
I need money ahhhh
The Americans sounded the smartest in this vid. We love, love, love the American accent in Argentina….!!! 😂😂😂🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ It sounds Brazilian Portuguese to us. I guess that’s why Bossa Nova is sung in Brazilian Portuguese and American English…🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️The ugliest accents are Australian and New Zealand… Sorry for offending anyone. They sound backward and dirty… I can’t hear the difference between American and Canadian accents. We do call Canadian expats fake in our country because they try to please everyone and are politically correct to a tee… 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ We aren’t politically correct in our county.
Kind regards,
A Fat Loud Dumb American
!!! Yes.
This was a hilarious video, but I'm actually disappointed because they were too nice to each other.
The Canadian guy just confirmed to me that pretty much ALL Canadians and Americans think that British = English. Scotland, and Wales are as British as England. I've never ONCE heard an American or Canadian refer to a Scottish person as British. They're clearly confused about this.
we are taught in america that british = english. what is the difference?
@@rollingthunderinho we are not taught that lmao but it is a common misconception because most of the British representation we know is from England but British is someone from the United Kingdom, so anyone from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland would be British
@@sunnysaturn134 no one cares
The people of Scottish ancestry here in Canada are very, very clear that they see see themselves as "Scots" and not "British". We take our cue from them.
@@rollingthunderinho You asked the question. You got a reasonable answer. Deal with it.
Loved the video, so much fun... But you missed South Africans
That would have been Lekker :-)!
Thats not an english speaking country. India speaks more english lol
0:38 🤣 I love them already.
I love, as a canadian, how people think we need more oomph, when we're the first ones to put your head through the glass at 30 mph.
You could do the Anglophone African countries next
When i hear ireland i imagine : Artemis fowl, tea, leprechaun
A lot of jealousy towards Americans.
12:31 is actually English it’s a Manchester accent
Irish guy looks like some version of Roy Keane.
Need to boost the algo
That English girl.....this one time at band camp....
The Irish guy is my new gay crush btw lol.
Ellie's posture is so British.
i will say this, as an immigrant to Canada as much as Canucks are known to be nicer but they do tend to say sorry when they dn tneed to and Americans are not push overs like Cannucks cause i'm sorry but pple take advantage of u/your society when u r too nice so yeah Canadians need more oof! :)
1:44 Oh god
Every time Sarah from Northern Ireland is in a video, she is endlessly negative and morose.
Well, she is from Northern Ireland.
5:30 🤣🤣
Psst, ya missed one of the largest English-speaking countries on the planet ... India. 😉
Right? I was surprised considering how many people they skipped over.. hopefully in part 2 they'll fix that 🤔
It would have been fun to have more countries. Part 2 is going to be with the same actors so no India. Obviously they can’t include everybody tho and it’s clear they were focusing on the Anglosphere which is ok. I’m sure we will get more videos featuring Indians.
I'm not sure if India is an English speaking country. Indians speak English as a foreign language, it's not their first language.
@@abshaar13 It’s true that English is not a common native language in India. But it is considered an English speaking country because English is an official language there. So technically not a foreign language. However only around 10% of people can speak it there. Which still means more English speakers than any of these places except USA.
They also missed over 60 other countries that speak English.
UK is one of the few countries in Europe that speak English as their main language so that assumption isn't wrong
Those scots, WOWZA
Minnesotan Accent 💕
Love how the "chunky" representatives of their countries in this video attack Americans for their weight.
as a Canadian, I was annoyed by all the clichéd, vapid answers for America
There are a bunch of English speaking countries in the Caribbean and Africa that you did not include. Including countries with MUCH larger numbers of English speakers than most of the countries (and non countries like Northern Ireland, Wales, etc) that you included. You might have just as well called this video what WHITE ANGLO countries really think about each other.
This is just countries roasting each other 😂
I'm American and I don't know anything about other English speaking countries.
HEY WE AMERICANS ARE NOT FAT
😥😥😥
Well at least I'm not
Half Welsh half German father, Half Irish half Scot mother ,born and raised in the States !
The Irish people did the most accurate Canadian accent.
Speaking on behalf of the entire 3 million people and 9 million sheep population of Wales im very surprised the English people had the nicest things to say about us 😂😂
Some of these folks sounds almost a bit bitter of the other nations lol
I'm from Washington State and I'm more like the Canadians then the Americans because my grandmother is Canadian
Bangers and mash 😂😂😂
Canada is America's quiet little brother.
somehow our little brother is a lot more competent and organized than us!
@@rollingthunderinhoUpdate on the Canadian competence. Parliament just cheered for a Nazi and tried to cover it up.
CANADA ❤🇨🇦
As an American, I think the loud Americans people are encountering have to be from the northeast (New York and thereabouts). The rest of us aren't that loud. I can hear northeasterners from miles away, ugh. 🙄🙄🙄
As for the rest...
Did the Australians really just say the New Zealanders were rough around the edges when Australia is filled with ferals who think drinking alcohol out of their own shoes is normal?
why is this channel's sound mixing horrible?
Funny! South Africa 🇿🇦 was kind of missed though
Buddy's got no idea how Newfies sound lol
i wanna take the american girl out on a date. her knowledge of geography, history, and culture impressed me. that's my weakness, girls who know those things...
where is australia and new zeland anyway??
Kiwi Sam is cute 😊
Yes I can admit as an American we can embarrass ourselves
Oh ok but the Europeans don't embarass themselves by being so nasty, conescending and prejudiced?
Your missing out on visiting one of the most beautiful countries in the world It's not bad here but we do say just be aware
Get some booze into a Canadian and things change *fast*.
That or when their watching the game.
