1st round pick, trade Savard. If not keep him. This is pretty easy.

When Hughes trades someone away he usually trades them to the cup winning team. So I don’t see Hughes trading Savard to Toronto 😂

No. If you're fighting for a playoff spot Savard is a rental you'd quite appreciate, why sell at this point. Not to mention this suggests trading with divisional rivals, one of which you're competing with for the wildcard spot (Ottawa) and the other a very likely first round matchup if you make it (Toronto). Winning changes things.
    Primeau can go, for free.

Matheson or savard are gone this year, i think they will move for picks and prospects and than make a big offseason move for a player in the cores age. I dont see matheson or savard as part of the future

keep savard, he is too important to help with the younger players

I agree, really don’t think the return we would get for trading him would be enough to justify all of the potential negatives that could bring

Habs may trade Savard if they can get at least a 2nd pick....or just keep him
They will give new contracts to Evans and Armia. Devo will not get a new contract. Demidov will be on second line next year, Newhook move to 3rd.

I think they are not trading him if they are in the hunt. If they fall off then sure.

Why would Montreal trade Savard if they don't get at least a second round pick!!
All ready have too many picks!!

Primeau for a pick. I think Savards time has come unfortunately.

You gotta trade the guy. Why keep him for 3 more months and get nothing at all for him at seasons end. Going forward, we won’t be signing him so you get something for him before he walks into free agency. Stupid move if we keep him imo.

David Savard to Winnipeg. Jets' weakness to date has been defense. They have 3.5$ million in cap space and a few failed prospects... Brad Lambert. If Montreal could get that and a second I'd be happy.
Poor Cayden Primeau was put on waivers and not picked up by anyone. Zero trade value. Ottawa could have picked him up.

Savard stays in 99% of my brains deliberations. The 1% where Montreal does trade Savard is that rare moment when a GM has a mental fog and offers a first round pick for him. 😂😂😂

Toronto and Ottawa can go pound snow. Trade nothing that could help them.

I say keep him unless the trade is to juicy, Primeau can go is % and differential is soooo bad. Dont know what you get for him but maybe ottawa gets in a bad postition and has to say yes to a high price.

lmao no one wants primeau dude. his trade value is literally 0. He just cleared waivers......a team couldve claimed him.......except no one wanted him.
