no but one time when I got the moonlight greatsword I did not know the power attack could be charged and shot as a projectile. I killed the fire keeper by accident.....
Just discovered something awesome! Open up two tabs, except this time, play secret betrayal, then this theme a second after, enjoy! They actually go really well together and sound great.

I must say this tune was easy to forget unlike the Dark Souls 2 Majula theme, after 1 year of not playing DS2 and a couple months of not playing DS3 I can never forget the Majula theme, and I never even got close to beating DS2 but yet I beat DS3 6 times...
Different strokes for different folks. This theme I found more memorable than any other hub theme - it's haunting and desperate, which really suits the sorry state the world is in right now.
+Armando Via it depends on who composed it. Yuka Kitamura and Motoi Sakuraba have been with Dark Souls since the 1st game. By the sound and feel of each OST, I'd say that the themes of the Firelink Shrine in both 1 and 3, as well as the themes for the Hunter's Dream in Bloodborne, were all composed by Yuka Kitamura. Majula's theme was composed by Motoi Sakuraba. For Yuka's style which IMO is hard to pin down, I'd use the following words to describe his compositon; somber, tired, sorrow, sputtering, despair, regret, relinquish, extinguish. A funeral before the commencement of the burial or cremation. For Motoi's composition of Majula's OST, it's exactly a theme that one would expect of a place of Majula. A destitute place resembling home locked in an eternal afternoon, a crossroad where you are neither welcome nor unwanted, stuck in a standstill, a nostalgic, lazy and listless mulling over past events and an empty future, pervaded by a wistful ambience that doesn't quite approach regret. While Yuka Kitamura's style of composition befits the sad themes of the Dark Souls as a whole, I also like Majula's theme more.
you might not believe this but i read it all and wow i never knew those two people until you told me whos they are and what they do , thanks for telling me i really appreciate it!
I often read comments on TH-cam that attempt to be eloquent, and 99% of them turn into convoluted purple text. I must say, congratulations to you on being that other 1%. Beautifully written, conveying the feelings I get from these soundtracks to the word. Thank you.
Prithee be carefull.
I dont want to see m'work squandered!

1:10 sends chills down my spine. love the music in this game.
just discovered this...gives me chills, its so hauntingly beautiful...
Play the game :)
Gabriel Simoes i should
You definitely should play the game. Although, as a huge nerd of the franchise you should start from Dark Souls 1 if not Demon's Souls.
you could not have described this any better.
Had this in my head all day. Such a beautiful song.
Has anyone ever accidentally traveled to firelink shine even though you're already there..?
no but one time when I got the moonlight greatsword I did not know the power attack could be charged and shot as a projectile. I killed the fire keeper by accident.....
I believe they respwan the next time you arrive at firelink
Always before going back to a Boss.
1:34 feels very strange, feels like the beggining of firelink shrine in DkS1, almost as if the song was remembering the song it once was.
That is SO true!
🔥Fire Keeper🔥... I still hear Your voice... 😔
Fantastic game,i´m more than satisfied

Is there a version where the music plays while the woman is talking? It gives it a good feel...

Majula theme is most simple, Ichonic and effective. This is more complex, elaborate and elegant.
But nothing stands to Majula in my heart
to tell the truth i like the majula theme better but this is still one of the best darksouls themes out there

Well it more has to do with conveying thoughts succinctly and thoroughly. Getting it to sound eloquent is just an end bonus :)
I'm so drunk right now
sillyman hey, just wanna check you didnt die.😂😂
home seems a bit different from when I last saw it...
It kinda reminds me the music from halo reach with a hint of sadness
dark souls virgin disliked this
There will always be an odd ball out there. Ruining perfection on a vid.

ASHEN ONE
You can barely hear the harp and there's too much violin in it, I like DS1 theme a lot better, it sounds magical this one not so much.
