I’m surprised Tiger actually heard the guy scream “It’s in.” He was so focused and just blocked everything and everyone out that that it seems like something that wouldn’t even register to him.
Not necessarily. He bogeyed 17 and 18 and he ended up in a playoff. Really it was DiMarco’s inability to make up a shot that cost him The Masters that year. Woods had a 1 shot lead after 15. He was at -13 and DiMarco was at -12. On 16 that chip went in to give Tiger a 2 shot lead at -14, but DiMarco made 3 straight pars to finish at -12. Even if Tiger’s chip hadn’t gone in he would have ended up with about a 15 foot putt on 16 to keep his 1 shot lead and still could have bogeyed either 17 or 18 to make it into the playoff. Had he missed it, they would have been tied at -12 after 16.
@@StrictlyStrange67 You mean the chip? I just explained how everything MIGHT have gone. That chip didn’t necessarily have to go in for him to win the tournament. It obviously made it easier for him to win and he made it a lot harder on himself by bogeying 17 and 18.
Watching this shot live I remember we were all on our feet and screaming. When the logo rolled over and that ball fell in I swear the entire golf world gave a huge fistpump.
The guy that yelled “it’s in” is a legend
That was my dad who said that
@@robinsonpeer3983 funny my daddy said the same thing
@@tylerbrown8486 oh no way so did mine
I'm in the neighbor lady
That guys says that on every par 5 tee shot
I still watch videos of this shot and get inspired and filled with disbelief and happiness
I still goosebumps watching it. Only a few legendary plays have that affect on me still lol
So much change in golf but one great change is Tiger becoming engaging.
love hearing him talk about stevie
Yeah that’s such an unfortunate situation. What an absolute killer duo. Great times in golf.
Best golfer of all time. Worst high fiver.
😂😂😂😅
This is up there as one of the great golf shots of all time.
Outstanding interview about that shot. Makes it feel like it was a round played with your friends with a beer on the line.
Lmao no it doesn’t 😂😂
@Michael Reid that's your opinion. Apparently you're easily amused
Most iconic shot I’ve seen in tiger’s career…. The call by Verne made it that much special ❤❤❤
I still remember the day and the time and where I was sitting in the living room!!! Still watch the shot🤙
I wish I was that one guy screaming "it's in" haha
Lol that was me!!! Still get chills
You'll find the right girl someday!
I’m surprised Tiger actually heard the guy scream “It’s in.” He was so focused and just blocked everything and everyone out that that it seems like something that wouldn’t even register to him.
Only Tiger could look so fine with ages from 2005 until now like fine wine 🍷 ❤😊🥰💯🔥😇🙏✨️🫶🙌😘👏😉
Super talented,super smart ❤
My dad remembers every shot he hit in the 1976 Pennsylvania mid am when he finished t-12
I haven't played in the mid am but I did play in the pub links a few times and I remember quite a few of those shots.
It was Gary Del’abate yelling “It’s in!”
The most spectacular shot ever! I was a big Tiger fan back then.
The loudest roar ever heard on any golf course ever. I saw that on TV that day and jumped out of my chair in the living room and cheered.
Awesome. But should’ve ended by showing the shot.
Never liked Tiger growing up. He’s had several self-inflicted incidents, but he’s only human, man. I respect the man today. He’s done right, too.
It's awesome how well he remembers this iconic shot!
They fact tiger can hear one guy out of thousands of people is just mind blowing in itself
I hope he and Stevie reunite ❤
Tiger may not be as good a player as he once was but I think he’s a better person. He’s more humble and personable now.
Tiger You're the best 😍😍😘
Even though I've seen this shot a thousand times when tiger described it and said a fan screamed it's in it's in twice I got goosebumps😅
the GOAT!!!!
Goat
It’s in It’s in...that’s what she said !
And that shot literally one him the tournament. If that doesn't go in, he loses

I still try to will the ball to go in. Crazy.
From this it sounds like he’s more of a Verne Lindquist fan than a Tiger Woods fam
“It worked”
Great golf Tiger
The GOAT!
Now do the famous Tiger chip shot into the camera lens
I was the guy that called that it was in. Tigers right, I was in line with the cup on the backside of the green.
lol yea ok zach
@@ClapYaHandsEverybody you can see when the video pans to the crowd after the putt. It was on Tigers left hand side.
@@zachbailey457 it was a chip😳
@@Mr.Pip_ yup I meant chip 🤦♂️
Awesome
…bring Stevie back Tiger 🐅 that’s when you were the best

Find the it’s in guy
Good spirit
I was jailed for 5 days for dui 2nd. I was completely innocent. Had the entire pod watching the Masters when this happened 🤭
Did tiger join you with his DUI 😭
Great Story ❤️
Cool but he’s no Sean Mcvay
And he was minus one over Ernie
love ❤️ watching 👀
I mean he wasn’t far off
What typa questions are these lol no golfer is remembering how long exactly their chip in was from 17 years ago
Is he loosening up finally?
This is a cool one. 👊
I remember Tiger crashing his SUV after a drunken bender 🤣
love this
