陶芸入門 牡丹のイッチン描き Slip trailing peony flower

陶芸入門シリーズも、玉つくり、紐つくり、削りと進んできました。装飾の方法は沢山ありますが、このビデオは、一寸高度な「イッチン描き」を紹介します。山登りでいきなり7合目までジャンプする感じですが、参考までに覚えて下さい。ごく一部の上級者しか出来ない技法です。この後、素焼きに出し、呉須の染付で仕上げるも良し、下色絵具で着色、そして本焼きです。
　This video shows how to draw a peony flower with the slip trailing. It's so called "Icchin-gaki" in Japanese. You can make own porcelain slip or use any white decoration slip not too watery nor too hard. Please make sure that the thickness of the slip like a mayonnaise. Use a 0.5mm-0.7mm metal nozzle and a small cake icing bag. This work is done right after the trimming process.
