This is a combination of 3 folk songs among the Mbeere community.
This performance tells the story of Ngare and Njeru wa Ing'ombe. Ngare is a veterinary officer. His tools for castrating bulls were stolen. The folk tune shows how Ngare was helped to find his tools which were in Karingare.
Njeru wa Ing'ombe, a renowned dancer among the Mbeere people is praised and then warned of a girl who is daring to compete him in dance. This information annoys Njeru, because the girl that wants to compete him, refused to get married to him and later on got married in Iveti, a low place among the Mbeere people.
