@@engineergaming3830 No it was not, if you want to kill a widow 80 mts away you'll have to hit 4 fully charged headshots without you getting killed by her or she getting any healing, so yeah the damage fall of by distance is pretty brutal and it starts from 30mts. Her damage is perfect mid to close range, you have to wait around 1s after each shot to do the complete 75 dmg or 112 to head, so its possible to 2 shot 200 HP heroes but this clearly means that you have to hit 2 consecutive headshots on a target and wait for the weapon to charged in the middle of that fight, if you get killed by her you are missing shots and getting outplayed, that's a skill issue. She don't need any nerfs besides Ult charge rate however the Ult is too easy to counter or not get any value form it so not sure if the fast charge rate is to maximize your probability of getting value in 1 out 2 or 3 Ults when you play on ranked.
Don't really think she deserves any nerfs. Yeah she pumps out some crazy numbers in casual but in a ranked environment where people actually kill your turret she'll be nowhere near as strong

Ngl her turret cooldown are long when someone break it, even u break it it still have much cooldown to place it again, not having much heal charge either from her weapon.. for her ult, its just dont too much stacking with ur team so she not get much value.. i feel like she is an okay character
I've always thought a healing turret would be really interesting, and I am not disappointed! She's the perfect mix of tactical and satisfying, and I really love her backstory and character, especially how she's not directly connected to any of the lore, she feels like the first new hero in a while to feel really special, at least to me. Probably gonna be my main support from now on.

@@DyLemmaOGIt’s only guaranteed team wipe if you have no braincell to counter it. The same way with ult of Reaper, Pharah, Dva, Mei, etc. Captive Sun can be eaten, deflected, and cleansed. Other that, Illari is floating rather slowly during ult, and become a glowy target to shoot down easily.

She really makes it obvious how last minute thrown together lifeweaver was. It's like they knew they had a huge lack of support problem but wanted her for the huge release, so they took a bunch of ideas off old wow forum posts and made a hero. Lol. Like, sad thing is I actually legit remember the old shaman class posts about wanting a new offensive healer spec called lifeweaver. Hell, even lifegrip was a joke name for the similar priest ability.

Illari is strong… on paper. But people are quickly starting to understand how you’re supposed to deal with her in the best way. From tanks diving specifically to destroy the pylon, to DPS flanking to do the same, I’ve found that it’s difficult to do much with Illari if the enemy team knows where your pylon is - once it’s down on cd you become way weaker, it seems. There’s also the fact that a lot of people go the “no fun allowed” route and switch to Sombra, perma hacking the pylon and rendering it completely useless, disabling the most important part of her kit… The pylon is honestly so strong, Illari’s secondary healing just doesn’t keep up despite the amount it outputs (the resource is majorly limiting, as is tracking where you’re always going to lose a bit of the healing unless you’re perfect), so without it the team’s survivability drops quite a bit. I do think they need to take a look at Sombra hacking the pylon, to be quite honest. The reason I say that is because, as said, Sombra can perma hack the pylon as is. While hacked, the pylon is disabled and the hack lasts the same, or seemingly the same, amount of time as the hack on a health pack (fucking AGES). Replacing the pylon clears the hack, of course, but Sombra can just hack the newly-placed Pylon and you’re back at square one. I don’t really think that’s fair, for Illari, considering in most if not all other instances of deployable being hacked, it destroys said deployable, and in the cases it doesn’t the hack doesn’t last nearly as long and has quite a bit less value. Hacking a torb turret isn’t as important (especially nowadays) than hacking literally anything else, but hacking a Pylon is denying so much healing. I’m also pretty sure - but don’t quote me on this because my memory is bad - that while the pylon is hacked, you can’t place a new one until the old one is destroyed, which puts it on the 12s cd no matter what while it’s hacked.

Idk, man. Just kill the flankers? You talked a lot about her healing and overlooked the fact that she can two tap 200 HP heroes. If her pylon goes down, look for picks. If her pylon is up, look for picks. Secondary fire feels like a triage/emergency heal ability that should be used for critical allies. Also, her movement ability has a huge boop radius. She’s far from helpless and/or useless when her pylons is down. A big aspect of her utility is her killing power.

I hope she doesn’t get nerfed but if she does I think her ult with still be strong even if it did 50 damage because it also slows you when you are marked, anyway I have really enjoyed playing her
Honestly she is fun. But to strong. Her pylon needs to have her healing adjusted and give her more healing goo on her gun. So she doesn't just get so much free healing while dpsing
@lukasg4807 that's partly why so much of her healing shouldn't be tied to her turret. It is too much passive healing, and easily destroyed. So now you just have a subpar support for 12 seconds.

Can someone explain why everyone playing Ilari is jumping so much? (Myself included.) Just seems like it's more tempting to bounce around than on other characters...
@@Tee_BKunai nerf? She lost like 7.5 damage on headshots but got 5 damage on body shots and a ~10% faster fire rate. It’s a tradeoff at worst, but I’d consider it a buff once you adjust to the faster firerate.
If anyone is still complaining. Yes, she is strong but not op and the devs made her strong in launch. The devs does say they don't want a repeat of lifeweaver on launch. A weak doodoo hero in launch
In terms of concept, Illari is really well done. I only think she needs numbers tuning.

Considering her gun is also her melee weapon they should make it so melee doesn't interrupt her gun recharge
