Thanks for taking us along. It was a decent day out. There’s been mostly overcast days so far last year there was way more sunshine not sure how that’s effecting the bite but it’s definitely been slower.

To the moon, Alice! The Delta often times frustrates me because as you said, if you can't figure out the pattern, it makes for a skunk day! Those punch fit were chunky for the most part 👍 That turtle swimming away with a Bluegill was epic 😊 Our next tournament is on the Delta. Hopefully things will come together quickly for us 🎣🎣🎣 Thanks for showing us those nice toads on the spinnerbait.

So good to see you successful on the Delta after all the attempts. This years water influx delayed the spawn everywhere, but the delta really got jacked up. Spinnerbait bite too! Right on Greg!!!

The flooding didn't mess up the bite. The spraying of the weeds is number one. Followed by the sea lions. That grass ain't like it was 10 years ago.

Great video! Just a thought, seemed like most of those fish bit the spinner bait on the pause, maybe work a couple short pauses or pop your rod a few times, maybe causing a reaction bite
Solid video....Delta is same as always...decent numbers..bigs are getting pressured or running bait deep with stripers!! When they started eating spinner bait maybe next time start throwing bigger weightless swimbaits or jointed wakebait!! Should help..You were fishing literally exactly where I go...no names...LOOP
Your words about things evening out are so true. Last night lost a 5 pounder right as i was grabbing for it. Was super bummed. But then a hour later i caught a 3 pounder and a 5 pounder.
Was up there fishing all last week with our club. All about red lipless at high tide over the weeds and spinnerbait once it dropped. Very few topwater fish. Definitely not the typical June delta experience.

Whats going on Sir, Huge fan of the channel man. Really enjoy your videos. Its awesome because i live a little north of you in Santa Rosa, so we fish alot of the same bodys of water. Im a freaking Clear Lake junkey, just love that chance at one of those clear lake days, plentyful fish and theyre all chunks. I will admit though this year has been probably the hardest year ive had for good days bass fishing in a while, Just seems like the fish are off. Anyway headed to Clear Lake for the weekend this week, hopefully i can find a good topwater bite. Thanks man
Hey Greg, really enjoyed figuring out the puzzle. You are such a solid fisherman. I think I would have spun out early and just stuck with the wacky rig, and the day would have been a bust.Anyway, nice job and great video!
Thanks Dan! I'd say sticking to the wacky rig on a tough day is a solid game plan but when standing up and seeing hardly any life let alone even small bass or bluegill cruising I think it was a big hint they were buried in and under the cover!

A question from other videos.
When you do practice runs, why not cut off the hook point on a set of lures? You will feel strikes but you won't spook the fish?
What I like about kayak Bass Fishing at least one of my favorite things, is you don't drag them off their nest and take them across the lake, where finding their nests won't happen. Kayak Bass folks don't do this. I've done some reading on removing fish from nests and hauling them away. Not too many Pro's. You folks are awesome
Good question. A couple reasons, I like to see the size/quality of fish I'm around and secondly the stakes of these tournaments are relatively low so catching the fish imo is more rewarding than potentially saving it for a tournament day. As the sport grows we'll see how my practice changes/evolves but for now I'm swinging on all of them. The only exception would be if I found a giant on a bed, then I'd leave that one fore tournament day

Good question! Mainly forage and location. Saw a lot of smaller bait and was fishing around more ambush type areas versus a blade bait where I'd throw more around bluegill spawning areas in combination with seeing a lot of bluegill. That said thats just a start, these fish can do a 180 on you and be eating a bait that makes no sense haha

Idk I like to fish “fitness” or my confidence baits first. Once I catch my first fish or couple I’ll switch to power fishing
The wind, though.....ughhhhh. you make it look easy. It's not. As a newbie it is difficult to position correctly and not blow your spots up.. What you do is difficult and takes a lot of time and skill. Thanks Greg!🎣

Hey luke, its underneath the boat just in front of the pedal drive. The native titan and other native boats have a dedicated space for the transducer to be mounted
