There were over 100 people there and we had power, water, and a community to help anyone who needed it. We oversaw the place and I was known as preacher. My guard, and my small family were burned out, when the fires started, the FD was already there. We left Osceola county, as after several attempts on our life, we couldn't take it anymore.

I drive a Gem E6 every day at work. I really enjoy driving it and because of this, I have found out that you can modify them to go 50 mph. So that you can take them on more roads. Also, I hope the plans for this eyesore of a property come to fruition. I almost feel like that abandoned hotel has become a Haven for criminal activity.
That resort used to be a very nice Hyatt hotel back in the 80’s. I stayed there a couple of times on family vacations to the Magic Kingdom. Sad to see it now.
my neighbor told me he use to work there for a few years up until they closed. a lot of business shut down on 192 around 2009 when the economy tanked. I remember seeing lots of shut down businesses and baorded up buildings..
Adam, me and my teenage son and preteen daughter at the time, filmed a horror movie there lol.. we never finished it and never done anything with the footage but, my son was into filming and we lived near there and got the idea.. 😁🥰 fun times

On July 3, there was a person who was shot and killed at the entrance to lonely world (sun resort). It was odd that there was no media coverage at all. This happened in the afternoon. I’m guessing it was kept quiet because celebration doesn’t want the negative publicity.

My company is the vacation village resort next to the Orlando Sun resort ruins. I see those ruins all the time when I come up from Fort Lauderdale. Thanks for the continuous updates. Always wondered when/if the ruins will be going away.
