Mountain Man is awesome, Duck Dynasty is one of the few shows that showcases good Christian families in prime time (perhaps the only?) and one of the handful of shows my kids are encouraged to watch (on pvr because of school night airings)

This show is truly a blessing from God almighty. The #1 show in the world and all the Robertson's are as christian as can be. I hope it is helping to spread the word of Jesus Christ to kids my age as much as it has to me. I have always been a true Christian, go to church every week, but this show helps me in my hard times by showing the path through God. God bless y'all.
So now Christians claim that they can see beyond race to value the human being but they can't do the same thing for sexuality?? Please. What sane person would believe that?? A bigot is a bigot and neither Jesus or God will defend them.
eyeyameye you're making the mistake of thinking race and sexuality are in the same category. They are apples and oranges.

As a born again Christian, husband, and a father of 3 this is the one show me and my family sit down and watch weekly. I do not have to worry about my boys being exposed to vulgar language, nudity, or any of that other garbage that other TV shows seem to have. God Bless the Robertson family and what they are doing through this ministry.

Being Baptized, is the testimony that we have been saved by the blood of Christ.
Being Baptized in the water isn't what changes us, it is Jesus Christ.
I'm thankful; that Mt. Man has had this transformation. We enjoy the show.
its a wonder poor old Mountain Man didn't drown in answering the call when he got baptized as slow as he talks, but the best thing is, he made the call that God has drawn him near, he is one of the children of God! Amen
Preach on Mountain Man and the Good Lord is using you and the Duck Commanders to make a difference for his Kingdom. Keep Jesus Christ front and center always and watch how he will use this to make a difference in the lives of unbelievers in this world. You are right on Mountain Man that we believers are just messengers here left in this world to make sure we take others to Heaven with us!! God bless you Mike because we are not weak because we have our firm foundation with the Lord. He makes us strong. For those who don't know him they try to fit societies form which will only cause us grief and sorrow. For us Christians we know we don't have to be perfect because God loves us for us, but people won't love you for you they will hate you for you. I will pray for you and I hope eventually I can say hello my brother in Christ to you.
The screeching underneath the speaking kept me from being able to hear Mountain Man speak, when i was on my computer, so i jumped on my phone, and--- yep, Mountain Man does talk as slow as he was portrayed on the TV show. God Bless the Robertson Family, for whar theyve been able to do for Children of Christ with their fame. I use their movie, The Blind, as an opportunity to talk about the need for the powefful name of Jesus, when were looking to change our lives and recover from our past.

Captivating, I'm pretty much Agnostic, but I was engrossed watching this video, normally I have little patience for this sort of thing, but I watched the whole presentation. I think this says a lot for Mountain Man as a speaker on religion. Could be powerful secret weapon fir the Duck Commander crew and their message. Disarming I guess, in a word.
The Holy Spirit was speaking through him. Mountain Man is a willing vessel & that's what God desires. He can use anyone, anywhere.

Sonia, Mountain Man heard the word (in the duck call room), repented of his sins (broke up with his woman friend), felt the Holy Spirits leading and out of obedience was baptized. That is a testimony of God changing a man's heart. Please don't pick it apart or be divisive over MM choosing to be re-baptized. I just love this family, I do not like guns but I do know why they use them and if everyone use them the way they do we would not have to have the rule for guns. I love the LORD and everytime I look at Duck Dynasty I feel the LORD presence very strong. I pray that the fame and money will not change this Godly family. My God continue to bless this Roberson Family.

Excellent testimony! We are all 'weak' in relation to God which is the point of the hymn verse 'We are weak but he is strong' & to come to God we must acknowledge our weaknesses our sin and the need for grace which is our only path to salvation. Some like to think they are too strong to need religion/God but it is exactly that attitude that keeps them separate from God.
Well he doesn't talk quite as slow as on the show, but almost. I love it.

To those who are atheists who are trying to get us Christians to see your point think of what you would want. You hate it when we speak about God, but when you guys say stuff we turn our cheeks because that's what God tells us to do (Beatitues and Golden Rule it's in the Bible look it up). Turning your cheek is not weakness it's strength because to all who have knocked this video I forgive you. Just remember we didn't force you to watch this you chose to and I hope it's because God is trying to do things for your life.

I would like to hear Mountain Man explain salvation being something besides being baptized. You must be reborn before you are baptized. The baptism does not produce salvation, it is a testimony of your salvation. The thief on the cross had no opportunity to be baptized but was in paradise with Jesus.
To be baptized you must believe in Jesus. Not knowing him personally, but through his preaching and television, Phil is educated enough and a believer and understands this. I am sure that he checked the box before he dunked the man.

Children in the catholic church are "baptized" without knowledge of the Savior. Anyone can be dunked. Baptism without confession in Christ as Savior is just a bath. I did not hear that in his testimony. If you have, then great.
