​@@alexandercarroll9707 ​The MIDI file either doesn't exist, or is too messy.
In the first case, I have to build the MIDI file by manually entering the notes in a music score software (I use MuseScore).
In the second case, the file is not meant to be played on Synthesia, so I have to clean it up, separate the hands, fix the dynamics...
Most of the times, it's faster to build it from scratch, but an existing MIDI file can be used as a reference material among others.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it looks like it has already been done by dsynth. I only make synthesia versions of pieces that don't already exist in the left/right hands format.
