Sometimes maybe one can feel God's spirit flowing around and through a human consciousness. Catching a glimpse of what is more real than we can see. I have always loved this song....a Canadian now living on the shores of the tropical Indian Ocean....and I can feel this tune pull at my heart, feeling the greatness in everything....GBS, thanks for being part of my life journey.
Such a calm, clear song.....dreamy....a true sucess. It helps whenever your feeling sad, and you dont even have to listen to the words, the beat and tune enough to calm and comfort anyone. A true masterpeice.
Discovered these guys thanks to Pandora. They became my favorite because there isn't a song of theirs that cannot make me feel something, whether it's the giddy silliness of the Night Paddy Murphey Died, or the quiet happy joy this song gives. Absolutely love them.
This is such a wonderful song. This band has been an inspiration to me for many years. I wish they would come to Chicago! Guess I'll have to go to them, lol.
Never heard of these guys till I saw them support Runrig (they originaly did "Beat the Drum") in 2007. The banks of Loch Ness in Scotland and I was converted there and then!
you know other then insulin, the telephone, the light bulb, pacemakers, the zipper, Canadarm (1and2), the G-suit, Plexiglas, electric oven, the wonderbra, and many more everyday and not so everyday commodities that were made by Canadians. but still great big sea is awsome
DV DODDS Murray Foster wasn't playing with the band at this point. They still had Darrell Power, their original bassist. He's the one in the glasses lying on the ground at the start.
Seems that you must watch one of the lesser known "b-sides" of Great Big Sea to appreciate the vast talent behind Alan Doyle to buoy his success when another Band member becomes the front man. Wow. No I understand.

best band to ever rock the earth, proud to say they're Canadian ;)

Best Soft Rock song ever.

This song talks about all those days when your luck's not going so good, but you gotta hang in there because the next day's gonna get better

One of my favourite songs of theirs along with Goin Up, Ordinary Day, Come and I Will Sing You, and Good People

If they come anywhere near Denver or Salt Lake City I am there. I'm considering writing to them and asking them to come here.
Of all the great things to come out of Canada... Great Big Sea makes up about half.
End walk up is perfect!

Makes me cry every time
Video was filmed in Toronto's Financial District....Murray Foster is from Toronto.
Beautiful song. Lyrics. Melody. Arrangement. Not a bad song in their catalog.

Modern day Beatles!
Figured it was Toronto.
Adblock will be your friend :D
Fuckin hell. I'm not crying. You're crying
Love this song. So much. However, in all honesty, I think the live version from Road Rage has better vocal quality.
Nine people hit the wrong button.
12*
@NienerWiener69 this comment made my day!!!!
@NienerWiener69 I have to agree that Great Big Sea is better than JB, but James Brown does have talent! jk I feel the same way.
@NienerWiener69 you need new friends.
