      My gosh there are so many different options in KL! We will need to go visit many more times so we can share all the other places we found but hadn’t filmed. Thanks for the comment! ❤️

    In most countries, their best products are for import while the local gets remaining.

      It was very strange for us to see so many Australian products available in Malaysia. I guess it's no different than seeing Chinese vegetables for sale in Australia. Interesting logistics.

      Kuala Lumpur food is so diverse, there were so many more amazing places I didn't mention here too. I'll make another video about them in the future when we can get over to KL again.

      Yes, it's lovely to travel somewhere where vegan foods are easy to come by... And are totally delicious!

    Convert the Aus food to Aus prices. I wanna see what it's like in price compared.

    • @TheVeganTravelShow
      @TheVeganTravelShow  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      At the time of filming the exchange rate was fluctuating around 2.84RM to 1AUD. So in Aus dollars the half cabbage was $3.22, the leek was $4.26, the cauliflower $2.15, the celery was $3.56 and the giant mango was $8.75. There were fruits and veggies sourced from within Malaysia as well for much cheaper, but every supermarket had an Australian produce section. Malaysian-grown fruits were the nicest we've ever tasted.

      There are so many places! We ate at lots of different places but didn’t have the time to film it all while travelling. There will be a next time… perhaps in a different part of the country.
      Where are your favourite places to eat?

    Wow. You really went to Malaysia and didn't eat any of it's cuisine.

    • @TheVeganTravelShow
      @TheVeganTravelShow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Malaysia is a very diverse country with loads of different cuisines and fusions on offer. The Monastery is a great place to try plenty of different authentically Malaysian foods. All cruelty free of course! The restaurants and stalls we show here were just some of our favourites and were places we weren’t expecting to find in KL.
      Thanks for watching!✌️
