Does anyone know if this, or other songs by Las Cafeteras, fit into any specific style? I'm thinking about seeing them live soon and I'm wondering how I'd dance to this. I already know salsa y bachata, but I don't think this is either of those
El chuchumbé itself is a style of music. I'm not an expert on this sort of thing but I think it falls under the "son jarocho" folk tradition from Veracruz.
Run, don't walk, to see them live. This group is amazing....Sing, dance, theater, play instruments... they do it all. You'll never forget the experience. Seriously. They're touring now, til 12-09-2022. Go.
this is the worst son jarocho ever play, its a crime that horrible noice represents son jarocho in kexp please hear something like (el amanecer from son de madera)(el camotal from los cojolites)(el mundo se va a acavar from mono blanco)
