Really good review. Well researched and knowledgeable. Super frustrating how other people make videos about the scooter but don't do any homework and then they just poke around and show you things and don't even know what the hell it does! Hope you got a freebie out of it!
So…….. I’m currently looking at this or the Nami Klima. I know you’ve ridden both. Any recommendations? It will be used as a daily commuter. Not looking for crazy top speeds, enough to keep up with traffic. Looking for a good hill climber, and overall quality, durability and live ability. Thanks in advance.
So, I've had one of these for over a year now, I've done 4000k's on it and it's still going (say about 70-80% of it's original range). However, it's getting time to upgrade and buy something else. I was wondering if you can recommend another? (I've been told the lightning v2 2024) I'm 192cm at 90kg's, I use scooters primarily to get to and from work. The Mukata 10+ has been brilliant in acceleration/handling, but there are some detractors: -The shocks are not hydraulically dampened, they're just springs, this can mean some jarring sensations depending on what terrain you're on. -The speed controller can vary the top end/gear setting as much as 10kph between full/low battery. -The indicators are set to stay on for 15 seconds, you can't cancel them. This can mean long after you've made a turn you're still indicating. -The trip meter resets every time you cycle the power, can't easily keep track of distance/battery capacity without an external notepad/calculator. -No steering damper so higher speeds can be quite harrowing. -Dynamic breaking at max setting doesn't even engage till you're well over 45kph, so all that city riding at legal limit you don't get to recover any power back into the batteries. The good: -The ESC's are completely silent, no high pitch whine that the cheaper scooters have. -Huge deck so you can vary your stance easily. -Definitely made for taller riders. -Side lights and head lights are amazing for night riding - despite the headlights being attached to the deck, not too bad in the turns. -With dual motors engaged this will /power/ up a hill and on the flats, you will struggle to hold on. 'Quick' doesn't quite define how this scooter accelerates.
Is there like a 26ah Samsung/LG battery version for longer rides?? IP rating perhaps? I'm very keen on this as i was about to purchase a V2 lightning ( the 26ah Samsung battery version ) but this thing looks the goods
I also hope they had a bigger battery upgrade, With $100-200 more it could be the top pick. The V2 lightning mounts generic brand cells so I would not compare with the LG ones. A negative point I believe is about the deck because it seems to be a bit short.
@@billadmond9450longer deck would increase weight. There are other scooters that fit that need. This is perfect size while still allowing it to be lifted over curbs, or into car trunks or even up some stairs if required
@@dcunplugged31 the only problem is, I can't try or see in person because I'm located in Perth 😥 I'd be using this as my new daily commuter scooter, not off road. I'd love to also find out the top peak power? V2 is 4000w peak. I'm sure this new Mukuta would be very close to that peak power right?
That is a super nice looking scooter dude, and ye gads the specs are crazy, with the new rules coming in just a week, are things like this going to be popular still? It was a club day yesterday, so while I did get to ride to go and get dinner, and I did try the new 12kmh-1 thing along a common footpath I didn't get long. The GTR-V2 really struggles to travel that slow, it's throttle is just not sensitive enough to make it work, I spent more time on the breaks than on the gas.
Yeah they will still be popular. And comes in on the dimensions part of things as well. Not much has changed its just foot parths are 12kph so the ones you see out side your house and shop fronts but shared parths and 50kph streets can do 25kph
It will be an adjustment for a lot of riders but it can be possible. I’ve had both versions of the gtr v2 and n single motor gear 1 they are quite capable of travelling at the lower speeds. But roads under 50kph with no center line I believe are still good for the full 25kph.
@@dcunplugged31 your very lucky to be the first to review this scooter in Australia. That must feel great have that ability. Does this scooter have settings to adjust things like throttle response and regen braking like the good old p settings.

Great review! Just got my review unit as well, can't wait to test it out!

If it falls over, how do the deck lights hold up? Are they durable enough to take impacts? Nobody talks about it.

My rear wheel broke and it's going 26km/h with dual motor mukua 10. What is this problem?
I have a beep horn just like that and a little ringing thumb bell I also have cool lights running around my Thermal bag. I live in VEGAS!

It looks like a vsett in grey with different plastic, and headlight location. It does suck they're in a fixed location though. Good review though
Directional lights too flush with the body & don't show well ,only on the sides not visible from the front or rear! Te Vsett is better.🎉😂❤.

Hi did it come with nutt brakes
it reminds me of a vsett 10+ just a different colour
That's because it basically is the VSett 10+ but with small changes. Same company made it.
Where can you buy this scooter from? I can’t seem to find it online.
E-move Sunshine Coast I believe are the one's taking pre orders
What range it has? ...calm ride🤔😉
There are all kinds of attachable lights on Ebay!
And the gps top speed?
Are these tires air filled or solid?
Air filled
Didn't even ride it.
Price?
Listed as Bicycle lights though.
Top speed ? Number of watts
2800w base top speed 78kph

How much is it?

Would you purchase this over the VSETT 10+ (28Ah)?
No room for a phone mount or extra lights
Sloppy welding
