It’s all part of growing as a person and as an artistic individual. You’ll probably feel like you have more of a purpose when you do the van thing. Doing the same thing for so long sometimes clouds your focus, making you forget whether you’re a vlogger, an educator or more of a storyteller. I think you’re just figuring out your style and who you are / want to be. Stay passionate.
I doubt anyone would object to a video just of you making music.
And explaining how you learned to play, what instruments you play, what type of music interests you. There are so many other things you could talk about. For example, winches. What are the different types, how they work, why you use them, etc. How does autopilot work? Are you scared of sharks? What types of sharks have you been in the water with? So many topics…

Finn it is good to see you again. You were the first one I met of the Zatara Gang. I hope to get to meet you in person someday. I live just outside Buffalo, NY. in Amherst, NY. There's no ocean in this area but we do have Niagara Falls, the Erie Canal, lakes Erie and Ontario, one Canada. Just recently realized some of Canada is South of here. That seems weird. We also have Rochester, NY. THE home of Kodak and Xerox. Thought you might be interested because of Kodak. Niagara Falls is a neat place to experience. The Maid of the Mist boats go right up to the base of the Falls. I still like to ride them even after taking many people on them. You might be able to find them online. I dont know the availability or costs involved from your locations. I sure do like to see your posts and activities. Stay healthy and have a great and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. That goes for the whole gang.

Since you create , love music and filming, why not make and direct a rock video, sailing parody mini musical or maybe a cover version of a popular sailing themed song as a video on your next passage ? You have an energetic fun crew at hand who Im sure would be willing cast members in whatever creative madness you can imagine. As an only child, I always wanted an older or younger brother to hang with but it wasn’t in the cards. Cherish the time you spend together as it will undoubtedly change when one or both of you begins the next chapter of your lives. God bless.
Nice video Finn. I fully understand how trying to come up with something new or capturing could be very difficult on the life you live with much time at sea in the confines of a boat. You do quite well. I also get a sense you are ready for another life. Not surprising your age and searching for life's meaning beyond sailing. You keep mentioning a van and land travel. Do it. it will satisfy a need in you. You had some great coverage of your family's land trips. No doubt wetted your appetite. You are a good man. Life will give you more opportunities. Perhaps the only thing more unpredictable than sailing the world might be life itself. Never know what is around the next turn. You will handle just fine and hopefully it will give you an opportunity. Nobody mentions Madeline including you. You and her hit if off it seemed but perhaps is just another life's event that shapes us all.

Great vid as always Finn. Your lucky you are at Sea where it is warm and being in those warm zones you are traveling in. Here in Ohio where I am. It is 29 degrees with wind chill feels more like 25. With snow forecast. So enjoy the warm breeze and being on the Big Blue instead of landlocked where it's colder than a pair of brass briefs! Fair winds, and Calm Seas.....
