Thinking about getting this game for the holidays but I don’t this version anywhere? Your board looks different than the official Vegas edition. Where can yours be bought? Your mat is a lot different and looks much nicer, is larger and has the ability to bet on players as well.
This was the huge Vegas expansion ( before the current Vegas version came out) you can get it here but you need a base game to go along with it but it’s crazy cheap on clearance. www.miniaturemarket.com/nsg131.html
You mentioned only bidding with the $100 and $200 chips. Unless the rules have changed from the North Star party, you can still bid with your other chips as long as you're placing them with the $100 and $200's. Still just as swingy. (The exception was the 10:1 could only be bet with the $100 and $200 chips)
Also when you bet the long shot (10 to 1) you can ONLY use your $100 and $200 chips. For everything else, you can bet extra chips you have won, but you must have one of you two personal colored chips to accompany it (if for no other reason, but so that people know it's yours).
NorthStarGames if it did have its own questions than That would make it the new base game for new players to jump in, it would really be convenient. plus the old mat on the other side. It would be Really really convenient.

Yes that's correct but it was the 5 to 1 and 6 to 1 odds from the original that made it swingy. Which is why I liked party better.

I think I heard that this is going to kickstarter in August. Is that right?

Does this have all new questions?
No just the huge mat, 7th player board and markers, and the 500 and 1000 chips as shown in the video.
The Kickstarter stretch goals will be new question packs.
