Just travelled thru T2 of Bengaluru yesterday. Very modern, beautifully done, and impressive. I have lived in the USA for 40 years and familiar with major European airports. Few will match up to Bengaluru T2 - infra in India is changing very rapidly and it will be interesting to see where things will be by 2030.

Nope. Paid for, designed and constructed by private industry and money. No Govt. hand in this. Airport is private though Govt. of Karnataka has percentage share in it because it gave 4000 acres for the airport.

Govt gives lots of incentives to companies to invest in India. That's where huge tax money goes. And that's how India developed so fast. Passed through T2 in Bengaluru in December 2023. the best terminal I had been to thus far in many western countries. Infrastructure built in recent years in India is truly impressive - highways, airports, digital payments etc.
This is one of its kind in the World n Best Airport in the World, been to so many countries but never like Our T2 in Bangalore... Very proud to be a Bangalorean.... Namma Hemme Namma Bengaluru... ❤

In South bamboo don't use for building houses..😅 it's the North-East where bamboo used for houses..
Bamboo is used in hilly areas of south too and south still use furniture and many house ornaments are made in bamboo. From swing to furniture.

This terminal is made of 80% bamboo saving electricity, with zero carbon for environmental health proving sustainability. Over 60 lakh plants these only require ~10 mL water. Awesome
