Warren Haynes & Sonny Landreth performing Death Letter Blues at Island Exodus 6, on 01/17/15. (dedicated to Johnny Winter) (originally performed by Son House)
I love how Warren steps it up just a little whenever there is a formidable guitar foe playing with him. Warren and Sonny need to work together again. Love it.
Jim Saunders, you have reminded me of what Rory Block said when asked about the blues player she most wanted to emulate. Her reply was, Son House; not that she wanted to play like him so much as she wanted to reach deep down inside herself and channel from a similar place to where he was channeling from.
声がいい❗今までCDしか聴いたことないから、見る事が出来て感謝してます。
本物は飾りなんかいらない。
RIP Johnny Winter and Son House, the blues are in the very capable hands of Warren and Sonny.

Sonny puts on a slide guitar clinic!!!!
great show was there, Johnny was suppose to be there, but we were lucky to get Sonny along with Paul Nelson
Fabulous performance! Sonny is the slide GOD!!!
Sonny is one of the most unique, and underrated slide players of all time. No disrespect to Warren though.
Warren has hailed sonny as an influence and one of the greatest slide players of all time
Great collaboration
genius
Evolution.
Sonny looks totally lost, in the zone, reminds me of my wife when she would get lost in painting.
