STI 4XC is what I like on my Raptor 700. My first rear tires change I went with flat aggressive tires and they wouldn't slide like the originals at all. The STI's are a perfect medium. They grip and slide great!
@Roootrocker228 Yeah no kidding!!!! I have GBC Dirt Commanders, and love them for my trail tire. BUT there are way more tires out that I wish they would look at. To me, the best all terrain tire for a person looking for great trail manners but also great in the mud is the highlifter outlaw radial!
i think that the mudlite XTR's are the best all terrain because the tread is simple and it gives a good push and the tread is not as aggressive as an extreme mudding tire like the outlaws.
@NCMudman but the smallest outlaw radial is 28" i like the 26" gbc grim reaper almost an inch tread depth and 26-10-12 26-12-12 sizes and yeah i love how at the beggining they say you should look at more than the brand name all they looked at was gbc!
I got 27 inch mudlite xtr's on my 2012 outlander. There a really aggressive mud tire but they are a radial mud tire so the provide a smooth ride and great mud slangin traction. Check these tires out
Key take away here: "look for the tire that has the property of features to support the type of riding you do". Don't just get a tire because it looks cool or because it's popular, it might be made for an entirely different type of riding thank you do.
Anyone know if the GBC trail tires first mentioned in the video, with the "X" patterns need to be mounted in a specific direction? None of the tires say anything, nor do they have arrows, but the front tire "X pattern" could point outward or inward depending on the way they are mounted. Thanks for any advice!
Anyone run sport tires on a old scrambler 400/500?? I got a 400 2 stroke 4x4 but I want to ride it like a sport. I like to slide and have some rear end spin in loose stuff. Most people put mud tires on them since it’s 4x4 But I don’t care a thing about mudding
I have the 2x4 vetsion.awesome quads but darn heavy.and they have otjer drawbacks.but great all around and snow riding especially.they can be race modded for very much power.over 70-80hp.i have some minor mods to open up intake and exhaust and put better fox shocks on it since i use to jump it very often
Try sun brand tires,,,, not super expensive, tossed them on the sportsman 570, love them. Got them off amazon. 260 four all four tires. Work great!

The GBC XC Master tire is IMO the best all around sport quad tire ever.

Original tread pattern by ITP.easily copied by asian makers
this video doesn't even mention one of the most important aspects of selecting a tire: bias or radial construction. VIDEO FAIL.
