I want to go back to visit Konark, Odisha, India at its full glory. It was built in 12th Century dedicated to Sun God. Built over 12 years by 1200 craftsmen is the best example of Odisha's best stone craftsmanship. Said to build near the sea shore. It is built as a Rath or chariot of Sun God with 24 wheels representing 24 hours of a day each wheel works as a Sun dial, 7 horses representing 7 days of a week and was said to be the tallest temple of Kaligan or Nagar style Architecture. Now only the front is preserved and the main temple collapsed due to many invasions and erosion. It is a magnificent piece of work..each stone in the temple has intricate carvings with people dancing, trees, war and gods..
