Oh my! Somehow I got all the must haves. I got Stene from the initial ML selector, Cilias from the previous headhunt event, Maverick from the Lunar Theatre selector, and somehow lucked out all the others. For this event I wanted Mellona, but no luck finding her so far, even after refreshing all dupes. If I can't get her, I may choose Belian instead, so that I can make use of that hard earned costume. Anyway, nice job there with the short but complete explanation on the pros and cons for each unit.
I'm gonna have to save this video so I can look at my builds and change them up, especially because I didn't know I had so many of the top tier ml5s (only missing Krau). I was debating between Celine and Flan because I want them, but it looks like I should go for Flan finally. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, it's given me a lot to think about

I was lucky enough to get Zio a few weeks back from normal ML Summon, that basically gives me all the heroes on your S tier except LR Krau, so my choice is easy!
Last time I picked Apocalypse Ravi, I have about 5 of the A teir characters, all of which I got thanks to the free summons. I wanted to pick straze but my biggest problem is gear. I'm slowly getting good gear now and updating my characters as I go. I don't really do PVP cause of gear so this video definitely helped me figure who to pick. Thank you.

last year it was a tossup between C.Lilias and A.Ravi, with LHC a very distant 3rd, and I went with C Lilias. I thought I'd be picking A Ravi if this came around again but wow she's fallen off a good amount. Now LHC is the most likely pick for me I think.

you can only gold stone imprinted Straze once. Each Level Boss ML5 gets 1 set of imprints from goldstones. The reason my 2nd Straze is SS imprint is because i have pulled a TON of straze. No free imprints for the 2nd one.

I have C. Lillas on Moonlight pick and need to finish chapter 4 haha. Probably pick Zio. I'll get lucky on Last Rider Krau as I have Specter and Lionheart Cermia. Cermia is so good even on PVE with consecutive attacks or counter.
My only ML5s are Choux, Straze, Lilbet, Cermia, Tenebria, Kawerik and Haste so I'm very torn between Belian, Zio, Lilas, Laika (I really like her and have 3 spare green Laikas) and I also really like Solitaria and Ravi, it will be tough to choose

If you want to use JackO and Roana then Zio is the way. Briar is amazing but since you mentioned those units by name I cant not recommend him. He is also better than briar in GW/Arena.

I'm still deciding between Briseria, Clilias, and Mellona. I had my fair share of trouble fighting revive x evasion defense because my only extinction unit is Lethe and sometimes she is banned or the defense is not suitable to fit her into the attacking team, hence why I'm putting briseria abit higher on my priority list for now. I do have GL +15, idk if its enough for her though. I think I can gear her though. For Clilias is always for the meta reason. I pick Kawerik last time because I'm in dire needs of cleanser (No destina/roana/emilia at that time) but now I have all of them. Picking Clilias would solidify my opener choice and GW defense team. I don't think I can gear her yet (my fastest opener Amid is 255 lmao), but it will get better in the future I guess. As for Mellona, well its mainly for Candy defense (I have no Iwazu, no MA Ken). I don't have gear to spare for Beeho nor Carrot. So I usually tackle Candy defense with Lethe or if they have injury I use Arunka or Gilias if it possible. My Gillias team doesn't have a good track record so I my only reliable choice is Lethe. But something could go wrong on GW right? If I lose Lethe for some rng things, then I don't have any reliable choice to burst down Candy. Hence why I'm putting Mellona high as well. I think I can gear her as well. My perspective is mostly based on GW because I'm not a huge Arena player. What do you think is the good choice for me?
So far on Headhunt I have a few options: Straze, Ambitious Tywin , ML Ken, Lionheart Cermia. I currently have Riolet and Last Rider Krau and Spectre Tenebria and Mediator Kawerik in my roster. I’m conflicted on who I should pick.
You know, it says a lot about Epic Seven that as a F2P account I have half of the S tire units. Now granted I have been playing for what must be coming up on 3 years now but still that’s not bad and I have 18/45 on this list heck some of them I somehow managed to get to SSS without using stones you can’t say that of meny Gacha games. But I will also say I went as hard as I could on F2P account on Zio, navy Landy, Witch Iseria and a few others (twice I’ve tried for last ride and got nothing) so it’s not like you can get all the stuff you want but it’s fairer than most mobile games.
Well, if the new awakening update goes like how SG presented it, a lot of that "fairness" will go away real quick. But, in general, I do like that unit availability isn't as much of a concern as in other gachas.
Even tho Seline was ranked in C I think in going to go with her. I’ve got a fun injury build I want to put her on and have been wanting her since her release

If you had to pick between Zio and LHC, what would you pick and why? I don't tend to speed contest and I had a lot of trouble dealing with LHC last season. She feels like such a game winning unit. I've no experience with Zio.
They are both must-have units for different playstyles. Zio is absolutely mandatory for high level aggro/cleaving. LHC is pretty solid anti-aggro into units like ml landy and clilias which are omnipresent. Just see which style you play/fight more and pick accordingly.
Help. Zio or S.Tene? I have one fire Tene to imprint if I pick S.Tene. Comfortably around Champion IV-V in Arena and Champion last RTA Season. I have C.Lilias, Handguy, LR Krau, LH Cermia. Typically play slow but could probably cleave with speed gears around 240-270

I planned to Briseria because she works good with Zio in RTA and I wanted to get more focus on that or is better choose LHC? I have Golden Rose too btw
Man thats a tough call. Consider that the event ends in 90 days after you initiate. you should have both units available to you in half that time. So maybe wait to select in case one is on a rerun or you lucksack pull one
For both GvG and a future RTA(what i gonna start to play) which is the best choice between Lermia and Witch Iseria ?? (I love Lermia, but i already heared about Iseria good abilities to go on GvG).
When you say high gear reqs for flidica, do you mean just speed or…? I have interest in her and I have quality speed gear but its more of a mix spread rather than top speed. My best pieces can only build a 300 speed ran for example

all 3 are very playstyle dependent. If you are going for Emp I think LHC or Briseria are the way. Use fribbles or units with the same class and zodiac and see which one you can build better. If you can build one AMAZING and the other Adequate then that may make your decision for you.

Of A, I only have Bellona and Straze. And I really want all of them. While I have nearly all of B an bellow. >.> The only ones I don't but want, Belian and Chloe. If I'm not mistaken, your PVE rating is mainly because of GW and Arena? Cause some low rated unit are amazing at farming, events, expedition and abyss. Although the Abyss thing is more of a me thing, since I've find myself doing it with odd teams that no one do. While some high rated PVE. I can't really find them useful in many of those. But do in GW and Arena. Which to me is more like AI controlled PVP that actual PVE. To me PVE was always specifically "Player versus environment" Which is usually monster of some sort. And even when you face a "unit" they are vastly different than how they are when you have them. Not even the same skills. Plus their immunities or all those skills that "When the enemy is not an elite or boss" or "When the target is a Hero" and so on. Because of such things. I do not take into account GW when considering PVE. When I look for PVE units, it's probably something that will make HoT, Azi, and so on easier. Or give me better score.
I am on a new account rank 60, can do w13 and cleared ep 2 working on ep 3, have 7-8 units built decently i picked STene on moonlight blessing and i can also pick Cililias or maverick on 2nd moonlight blessing so i am wondering who should i pick right now considering my progress i also wanted to hit at least masters in RTA so i can get the free skin and rewards as well. Or should i get straze and focus on hunt?
My recommendation is always: You pick stene from moonlight blessing #1. (Damage dealer) Pick mediator kawerik from ml blessing #2. (Cleanser) Pick either Lrk(pvp)/Clilias(pve)from head hunt.
I have 40 ml coins. Wondering if I should wait for Zio to pop up and choose stene from recruitment, since stene and clillias have already passed the ml shop 'recently'.

I am torn between lone crescent and zio. I already have gear for both and I can see using them both in rta and guild wars.
Well the event lasts for 90 days. You can always hold out and see if one is rerun or random pulled and then select the other :)

Yes as long as you max the first first. It resets the items.... i know because i am stuck with an SSS straze and omly 2/5 of the item for my dupe.

Now granted I have been playing for what must be coming up on 3 years now but still that’s not bad and I have 18/45 on this list heck some of them I somehow managed to get to SSS without using stones you can’t say that of meny Gacha games.
But I will also say I went as hard as I could on F2P account on Zio, navy Landy, Witch Iseria and a few others (twice I’ve tried for last ride and got nothing) so it’s not like you can get all the stuff you want but it’s fairer than most mobile games.

Well, if the new awakening update goes like how SG presented it, a lot of that "fairness" will go away real quick.
But, in general, I do like that unit availability isn't as much of a concern as in other gachas.
Even tho Seline was ranked in C I think in going to go with her. I’ve got a fun injury build I want to put her on and have been wanting her since her release
The comment about Sylvian, ever since I got her it's just that! She is super hard to pick and she doesn't synergize well with my drafting style.
i will probably get Zio, its the newest one that i really like and Con Lilias its older same with Crow now, so probably it will not be much until the comeback at mystics.

For me its between Solitaria and Mellona (I missed Laika and Pflan to but I dont have the 30+ Art). I might take Solitaria so I can gamble that we get another selector for Moonlight Theater

If you had to pick between Zio and LHC, what would you pick and why? I don't tend to speed contest and I had a lot of trouble dealing with LHC last season. She feels like such a game winning unit. I've no experience with Zio.
They are both must-have units for different playstyles. Zio is absolutely mandatory for high level aggro/cleaving. LHC is pretty solid anti-aggro into units like ml landy and clilias which are omnipresent. Just see which style you play/fight more and pick accordingly.
LHC if i was more RTA focused
Zio if i was more GW/Arena focused

Hey i'm relatively a new f2p player (Just 1 month playing) and i select ML Tenebria and ML Lilias from the moonlight blessings, also got Zio and ML Basar from free summons and have Destina, Roana, Senya, Choux, Politis, Ran, Glilias, Yulha, Sharun and Nahkwol as a good rta/arena units who should i get from the head hunt event? I planned to Briseria because she works good with Zio in RTA and I wanted to get more focus on that or is better choose LHC? I have Golden Rose too btw

Man thats a tough call. Consider that the event ends in 90 days after you initiate. you should have both units available to you in half that time. So maybe wait to select in case one is on a rerun or you lucksack pull one

Honestly? I think I'll pick Kayron or Elena. They have their niches, and one should have fun, rather than only focusing on picking only meta units!
Consider that the event lasts for 90 days. You can always hold out and see if one is rerun or random pulled and then select the other :)
When you say high gear reqs for flidica, do you mean just speed or…? I have interest in her and I have quality speed gear but its more of a mix spread rather than top speed. My best pieces can only build a 300 speed ran for example

The coin rotation has made no sense for a long time so im no help there. Without knowing your account start in the top left and move left to right top to bottom and get the first one you dont have.

I wonder picking Zio - Biseria - Lion Heart , which one should I pick. I draft a lot of Adin and Arowell in RTA tho and RTA emperor is the goal I aim for. Idk which one gonna pair well with them. Tristant, pls give me some thoughts.

all 3 are very playstyle dependent.
If you are going for Emp I think LHC or Briseria are the way.
Use fribbles or units with the same class and zodiac and see which one you can build better.
If you can build one AMAZING and the other Adequate then that may make your decision for you.

Of the Must have I don't have Zio and Lionheart. Of A, I only have Bellona and Straze. And I really want all of them. While I have nearly all of B an bellow. >.> The only ones I don't but want, Belian and Chloe.
If I'm not mistaken, your PVE rating is mainly because of GW and Arena? Cause some low rated unit are amazing at farming, events, expedition and abyss. Although the Abyss thing is more of a me thing, since I've find myself doing it with odd teams that no one do. While some high rated PVE. I can't really find them useful in many of those. But do in GW and Arena. Which to me is more like AI controlled PVP that actual PVE. To me PVE was always specifically "Player versus environment" Which is usually monster of some sort. And even when you face a "unit" they are vastly different than how they are when you have them. Not even the same skills. Plus their immunities or all those skills that "When the enemy is not an elite or boss" or "When the target is a Hero" and so on. Because of such things. I do not take into account GW when considering PVE. When I look for PVE units, it's probably something that will make HoT, Azi, and so on easier. Or give me better score.
GW, Hunts, and Arena were the lions share of PVE Usage ratings
I am on a new account rank 60, can do w13 and cleared ep 2 working on ep 3, have 7-8 units built decently i picked STene on moonlight blessing and i can also pick Cililias or maverick on 2nd moonlight blessing so i am wondering who should i pick right now considering my progress i also wanted to hit at least masters in RTA so i can get the free skin and rewards as well. Or should i get straze and focus on hunt?

Zio should be in the shop in the near future. Could be 1 month, could be 9 though
