I feel like we have the same issues at the same time and you always have an answer for me prepared when I need, how odd I'll put this on my to-do list that's never had any thing done
Just an update guys!! For this to work you have to find away to extend the immortality/invincibility buff to two turns before the counter attack buff boss fight ends!! You can achieve this by making Yufine as slow as possible and bring high speed gear for the other units!! Make sure you hit the side monsters to boost the boss CR so he gets more turn for your yufine to counter
I just started this strat the other day. Another great alternative for invincibility would be Elena. She gives Invuln and an effect resist buff, lowering gear requirements by 50% ER (speaking of which, 150% ER has been fine for me up to this point). Also, you could add in Furious to the 4th slot for a crit rate buff, freeing up the artifact slot and lowering gear requirements again. And ML Rin's S3 change from immunity to crit damage should make gear requirements EVEN lower. Maybe frees us up to run an attack set instead of destruction for even more damage. Only downside of the ML Rin change is that you'll need to avoid Aquina and the Shredder mentioned in the video unless you want to do them before setting up the cheese. I think it's only 50-100 coins though, so I feel like it's worth just skipping them for the timesave, personally.

Aye thanks for the guide our PvE hero. Surprisingly this is actually very easy to set up. I just throw some unused gear on Christie and Achates, used my Rimuru as is, and give my failed er BB Karin's project's gear on Yufine plus Bastion and it worked on my first try. Of course, the biggest factor is your awesome easy to understand guide Tristen. Never bother with the old Immortal Yufine strat, but this one is really easy to get into. And since I kinda skip Vera and Arahakan raid, I guess I could do this run a quite a few times a month. Hopefully it could remedy my problems with the charms. Thumbs up again bro. Just additional advice for those who have Rimuru. Use him instead of ML Rin. Makes it a lot faster for the initial setup, not to mention Rimuru has two copy skills.
Nice, note that low invest works like a charm, builded a 4s christy full res build 220 without imprit (thats 110 for yufine); 5s SSA random low speed gear, RImuru pvp, helps with dps for set up and easy clear boss at the start and Yufine a bit lower that urs, but 60 criR + 90 res cap , destruction res, had to find random res part with crir and crid, and destructrion with res sub, such a weird unique pve niche build but hey it works ! Everyone has random artifact (pos yufine) and low gs gear not even reforged or max but rimuru, also note, there is chance SSA gives crit Buff with S2, can help for thoses who have struggle building crit and res and dmg on yufine, but thats a bit rng , but its easy to restart the set up up anyway
Because of this video, I chose yuve in the last free selection. Even though I needed the damned Monk, Nakhol. I do not regret . This is a very important resource.
correction you don't need 200 eff res, 150 eff res is enough to resist everything, lost a lot of damage and wasn't able to one shot mobs for going 200 eff res at first then swapped to atk ring its fine now
Massive shout out to our boi Tristen for another awesome guide! I just tried this setup and it worked like a charm! I ran into Aquina (by accident) and she didn't remove any buffs from my 137 ER Yuffine. Idk, maybe I got lucky.
Fwiw I just tried this and it seems like 150% ER yufine can clear even the 2 bosses you said to skip? Aquina only applies unhealable and silence, which yufine doesn't care about and kills anyways. Shredder takes forever as he does chainstun you but once in a blue moon yufine takes a turn, cycles out of her stun and counters. Eventually raqix dies, at least I haven't had it fail yet when I go in with 9 turns remaining on all buffs. Or you can get immunity on yufine through SSA, CM Rin or even gear but that's a bit unreliable. Makes the fights a breeze though, and maybe restarting until SSA gives her immunity is actually faster than sitting through the absolute slog that is the raqix fight. Or just do aquina and skip raqix. Either way, thanks for the guide. Finally decided to use my lab tokens in a useful way and this has been helpful.
One day I'll get shooting star Achates and be able to set this up. I've been waiting to pull her for the better part of a year since I first heard about this strat, and yet I still don't have her - or ML Rin for that matter, but I have Rimuru now (ironic) so at least that's replaceable.
you mentioned that the imprint effect doesnt persist through christy's death, but do artifact effects persist through death? trying to gear enough eff res and dont really wanna farm new pieces to put on her atm, so was wondering if bastion was a viable option on christy
I have been stuck on this fight with a counterattack frosted silva miniboss for the past 10 minutes or so. My Yufine's damage is not as good as yours. The miniboss keeps healing up. He's to the northeast of the bubble miniboss.
Man anyone have any tips on timing this. I just cannot seem to have yufine attack and then have rin be able to go before the bee takes a turn and removes 1 turn off of its buffs
yeah i had the same problem, just gotta make sure you exit with atleast 2 stacks of counter buff. if you have 1 stack, it will disapear. So make sure the boss hp is close too death, and then set up the buffs and arky him twice or maybe one time to death. Yufine also gotta be the slowest.
This is good for those who can set it up and need the coins but to be honest there's hardly anything to buy with the coins I've been swimming in over 120k ancient coins for like 2 years now. There's nothing worth buying in the shop
I mean i have charms but when i craft i rarely get anything worth upgrading. I'll throw a few charms to +9 a piece and if any sub i don't want gets upgraded i just stop and use that piece of gear to upgrade the next.

The fact that you can’t Trade Stigma for Ancient Coins is a missed opertunity and really surprising. Stigma can now be used to get Levels, Promotions, Gold, Tramsmits and you can buy Pet Food and Toys with it. Ancient Coins are the only thing you can not get with Stigma.
I dont know how you can say you can watch your favorite anime while doing this, its not like you can put it on auto and come back in an hour or anything

Getting her ee to proc is ridiculous. It might go off 10% of the time. I’ve tried this three times and her buffs always fall off. Maybe they patched or something idk but I give up

Yufine is the only Unit that can do this strat, cus no other unit has a way to infinite increase buff duration. Throw her into Grace of Growth(what i did and leave her there)

Yuffine just isn't in the cards even for grace lest I just give up on the event and expos
Nope. Yufine is it. Without her your best bet is a VERY high morale team and to farm the great Farche Frontier level 5 (Erie Hallway). With a 40+ morale team you can clear till close to -50 morale and earn a lot of coins. A fraction of this team but its still decent income. Just run til you die, use the free revive, teleport to an exit and done. Best i got for ya.

Okay. It seems like the Devs are on top and watching you very closely. They patch this cheat plus the wolf now steals your counter living you counterless and it steals your immortality too. Edit: Plus the mushrooms on suicide they will strip you of all your buffs you have on Yufine and that kills her straight away making this video a waste of time because you cannot use Wuf cheat. Hey it was really good when he first found out but the Devs on seeing this glitch they patch it straight away so no one came use it.
not patched. this is why we shoot for 200 ER. 100 on Yufine and the rest from christy. this prevents our buffs from getting stripped. there are a couple bosses that ignore ER but you either skip them or fight them first before setting up. hope this helps

Thankfully I'm not the only one who thinks accessory charms are the new bottleneck resource.

I just started this strat the other day. Another great alternative for invincibility would be Elena. I think only on manual. And that may not work if she kills too fast. It’s her s2 that extends buffs not her s1.

If you have rimuru use him is way easier than Rin. I use Symbol art on Yufine, so I dont have to stack POS
Use Bastion of Perlutia on your tank, so you dont have to build ER Yufine, it'll give her immunity during buff stacking phase.

After the fight ends all buffs reduce by one turn so you need a two turn buff for it to work

not patched. this is why we shoot for 200 ER. 100 on Yufine and the rest from christy. this prevents our buffs from getting stripped. there are a couple bosses that ignore ER but you either skip them or fight them first before setting up. hope this helps

Great map. Just tried it with Clilias/Rimiru/SSAchates/Yufine and got a successful run :)
