As a new mtg player this video was extremely helpful in getting to know the type of werewolf cards that are out there and how they would be beneficial! Thanks 😊
I think you forgot about Avrabruk Caretaker as best werewolves. A hex proof buffer on the front side, ALL permanents get hex proof, and all yiur creatures get 2 +1/+1 counters at start of combat on the backside.
It's also very weak to flying, especially if you can't overwhelm the rest of the players early. Even if you can, you're still likely going to get chipped away by those flyers
I would honestly just forget the non-daybound werewolves except the mayor. I know Tovolar helps bridge them with the new wolves but he's not gonna be there often and they're going to be much harder to get going.
@@BaileeCakesMTG its absolutly stupid, that the old and new werewolves got diffrent transform-mechanics. The same problem is, when its night, an old werewolf will not come transformed into the battlefield, just the new ones with nightbound…

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it!!!

Awesome video, making a werewolf deck and saw this so it definitely helped thank you
loved the video, my only question is this: In a pod experience, is it annoying to have to keep flipping and unflipping your cards?
Yes. Also annoying to have to keep track of when they flip.
I run horn of Gondor, just in case you get stuck this way you can still mass produce tokens
That's a really good option!!
Yes.

That's true

Idk I like some of them but the werewolves in general are hard to flip without tovolar
You know that moonmist will not transform your day-/nightbound werewolves, didnt you? I think because of that, its not a that good card in the end
What??? That doesn't make any sense. Very sad if true. I've always played the card as if it did

@BaileeCommander it's because new werewolves are day/night bound so they can't transform unless it's nights
its worth it alone for its combat effect that everyone forgets about.
It's true that Moonmist won't transform daybound creatures, but The onesided fog effect makes it still a great card anyway.
