- Welcome Back Guys! Today we are profiling a subscriber request on Tovolar, the Dire Overlord! The strategy here is to turbo out our commander as soon as turn 2 and start abusing the card draw. We have a lot of small creatures to synergize with Tovolar early. Then in the mid game we can transform and punch though with our large werewolves for big damage and lots of cards. Just redeemed the code! Thanks man! I've been working on a physical and digital wolf-werewolf tribal deck myself, I had completely forgotten about Tovolar, I MUST include it in my decks.
Anytime and there’s more to come! As for Tovolar he’s card draw and the ability to transform all your were wolves makes him my #1 pick!
Exploration and burgeoning seem like a must in this deck. Because you can end up with so many cards in hand you want a way to be able to dump them on the field and continually rebuild after boardwipe. Plus they’re one mana so works well ramping out tovolar
That would be a great idea! If you go this route I would add a few more lands. The land count is a little low.
Love the videos man! Super super super stoked on the upcoming Ur Dragon video. I’ve been saving up some money for mine because I quit collecting a couple years ago and realized that basically every good dragon came out after I stopped lol rip my wallet!!
It’s like that sometimes lol. Wizards has def pushed out a lot of Dragons in the last few years.

Do you think also adding aggravated assault, gigantic growth, and port razor be good for the deck too?
I couldn’t find Gigantic Growth. Maybe Unnatural Growth? I think there’s a place for those here, especially extra combat. Aggravated is good because you can put mana into it and the curve is so low. As for port, he’s decent but he has to hit. Maybe try Maurag, Fury of Amoum, Bloodthirster, or Karlach depending on budget. Unnatural Growth really synergizes but if you can’t find room I wouldn’t worry
@@IDraken1221 thanks brother! Yeah I meant unnnatural growth. I liked those cards cause of extra combat steps and would give tovolar more draw steps but if I can’t find a place I’m still going to give your deck a try. Great deck of card!
