And, the SCP Foundation find out there's some "thing" that may have created everything we associate with "humanity", pain, empathy, sadness, joy, you get the idea, embedded in our being as a whole, and it's been unlocked, so the foundation decides it's better to exterminate humanity, spare us the unexplained fate. this is really not everything and there's a few videos out there better explaining both of these, I highly recommend watching/reading these but, that's the general idea
I hope Nux eventually watches and learns about all the organizations and groups of interest in the SCP universe. Edit: The ones I recommend the most would be the Global Occult Coalition, Chaos Insurgency, or Serpents Hand.

There’s this one SCP that I can’t remember the name of but basically it’s our sun being sentient. Runes will appear on its surface and a barrier around the whole solar system. But the reason for the barrier is something even larger than 169. It’s these massive azatoth like creatures and they are uncomprehensibly large and there’s hundreds of them and they ate everything in the galaxy leaving nothing but our sun and 2 other unidentified lights. Sorry I can’t remember the name but I honestly find that the most terrifying concept for an scp. And they’re all trying to get past the barrier.
