    If you go into account settings on your Chase account, you can give your accounts and credit cards nicknames. That’s what I did in my investing account to be able to distinguish between the accounts.

    Just an FYI, you can change the names of your accounts on the Chase app so it’s not so confusing.

    This video provided direct experience with these investment firms; therefore, the content was super-meaningful for me. Based on your data and research, I am able to make a more definitive decision on which company will fit my needs. Thank you!

    I've landed on this video because I loathe the Schwab user interface which I was forced into from the TDA sale...

    Interesting topic. How about an upcoming video about "Best" credit card for reward or travel points? you can title it "is the AMEX Black Card worth it?"

    Really it's a 2 broker show if you factor in good customer service. Fidelity or Charles Schwab.
    If someone is willing to sacrifice customer service for other features, E-Trade and Webull are great choices.

    Funds hold/settlement times to be improved, it is not 1 to 3 days for funds pulled into Fidelity

    Schwab doesn’t have micro trading fractional shares for stocks or ETFs and that’s a downside to investing with them

    I find that Fidelity can not execute selling of my stock at a limit price. Schwab was easier. Schwab also has better Broker CD.

    I opened a Roth IRA with Chase and started investing in Fidelity S&P 500 index, should I just go with a Roth IRA with fidelity instead?? Any advice appreciated

    I had a similar frustrating Vanguard phone run around to reshuffle my IRA in January 2024

    I have Schwab. Love it except for one maddening aspect. I can't buy fractional shares of ETFs. Trying to teach my kids how to invest but they can't participate in VGT or VOO. Schwab needs to fix this.

      Google says it is allowed?

    • @tulipandlenny
      @tulipandlenny หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Evadingmoto they have a proprietary product called "slices" you can buy slices of certain stocks. But not ETFs. They have "themes" too where they pick a group of stocks around Energy or DEI (literally) and you can buy that basket of stocks in slices. Or you can change the stocks and % allocation.
      Incredibly over complicated.
      Just let us buy fractional shares of anything in the US markets.

      @Evadingmoto it's a proprietary platform and not everything is available. Not ETFs which is what I want.

    A+ video if it had bullet points. Of any kind at all at any point in the video. Come on, I'm a simpleton trying to learn.

    Charles Schwab bought TDAmeritrade 2 years ago, I was informed that TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim platform will be integrated into Schwab in the fall or early next year. Thinkorswim is by far the best app today!

    • @FIREPsyChat
      @FIREPsyChat  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yup the merger took a while because of the legal steps they had to take. I enjoy both Schwab and TD Ameritrade. I’ll need to look into the app you mentioned

      @@FIREPsyChat Several different employees at Schwab informed me directly of the integration of thinkorswim...getting access to this platform is the reason I moved to Schwab from Fidelity.

      Yeah, ThinkOrSwim is the best app. Schwab is now asking everyone to move there.
