After careful consideration, I'll be changing the Slugger, Eruptor, Halt, Reprimand to A-Tier. The Tenderizer and Diligence have been moved down to the top of B-Tier. I hope this helps out
Is it because of their medium armor penetration? Because you really don't need that vs the Iluminates imo. Sure you can theoretically take down a Harvester. But are you really going to use a Slugger, Reprimand or Eruptor to do that? They aren't really accurate enough to hit the weakpoints or they struggle taking down it's shield. And it takes a lot of time and ammo. Your much better of with a Tenderizer. It goes through Voteless, overseers, watchers and shield like butter. And you can take strategems to take care of the shieldless Harvesters.
@@sanderspijkers2495 Slugger excels at overseers with it's single target, high damage slug which has stagger. Yes It can deal with harvesters shields quite well. Reprimand doesn't struggle with shields, overseers and is a very solid option to kill harvesters. I would know, I use it all the time to kill them xD Eruptor is just to good at kill voteless, overseers, closes warp ships and can take down the harvester is a couple shots.

Good seeing the Tenderizer finally getting some attention. I’d classify it as more of an ‘IAR’ type of weapon given its accurate automatic fire. Being able to flip to 850rpm with no recoil penalties makes taking down moving Watchers and Elevated Overseers miles easier than other rifles at any range. Despite the abundance of ammo on Illuminate missions, I still recommend the Siege Ready armor to be liberal dispensing justice and the Liberator Guard Dog to turn you into a walking aimbot that has your back on those reloads.
I love the info and appreciate the time stamps. You put a lot of thought and time into these. I am scared where you're going to put the Torcher and Sickle. I love both those weapons vs the Illuminate.
A mechanic I wish the game had… I wish that enemies set of fire would slow down their movement speed. The big big ones, I understand. Bots, yeah no need for them to be very affected. Buy squids and bugs - I think fire should slow the light and medium guys down. Living breathing things typically do not ignore being set on fire That MIGHT make things like the torcher OP, but I think the short range of the fire weapons would still make it not feel totally OP
You van kick the tenderizer into the 800rpm setting as well as the 3 round burst mode. Allows it to cut back on recoil as well as the faster fire rate making the burst delay nearly nonexistent. Not sure if that fire rate to both the rate of fire in the burst and the reduction to the delay is a bug but that’s currently how it works. This also carries over to the knight Smg so the recoil is reduced and that has far faster fire rate.
There's no burst delay on any of the guns on burst fire..... If you time it right, it shoots the same as full auto. Liberator penetrator was like that on launch too.
@@epgamer1145 that's not how burst fire works...... Burst fire means you hold the trigger down and it does a burst of 3. However if you time your trigger pull right, you can essentially shoot exact same rate of fire as full auto. This also applies to real life burst fire firearms. You've played too much call of duty. Burst delay is not a thing that exists.
A single stun round will fully disable overseers for so long, and it will interrupt a watcher call in. Running the halt means you can play the entire mission without any reinforcements
@Geneviese it is my favorite for squids, paired with a rover backpack you dominate everything. The only downside is that i forget that i actually have to kill things when im not using it. Most of the time i just stun and laugh at them 🤣
@keenshibe7529 Eagle Strafe is all all need for shields. As for walkers, Arc Thrower can knock it out or just stun lock them, otherwise I just run under them and torch them.
@@FuruHataNinzaburo-w8zEh it's actually quite good if they know how to use it well. It's a jank weapon since day 1 and you have to constantly reposition yourself. But I do find annoying for squids as the voteless does a longer death animation after getting zapped and they actually block your arcs. Outside of that, it stun locks everything like overseers and harvesters. Sadly the ttk is slow which is why I almost never bring it on any front.
It's torcher with HMG for me. Going CQC with torcher and mid to long range with HMG is a very fun moment for me. Add 3 heavy-hitting sentry for the strat slot and you got the immovable fortress.

@@keenshibe7529 I rate the DCS higher for Voteless as it has better weapon handling so you turn faster to deal enemies when swarmed. DCS also a better zoom and faster projectile speed which allows it snipe Harvesters from 200 meters away. Overall the dcs is just better compared to the dominator but they're both good weapons. Dominator is at the top of A Tier so it's still super good.
@ If you use plasma weapons, you need a support to deal with Tripods. With the Dom, you save that 1 strategem space for anything else. I have tried using fast firing primaries mainly for voteless and shields but nothing comes close to when I was using the STA smg, it fires so quick and fairly accurate plus you can move around while shooting, you can kite the voteless stragglers and take down ships easily with nade pistol. Having to mag dump overseers doesnt seem that big of a deal since you speedrun so quick you can just take the abundant ammo scattered around. I do find these combos most effective curently for the vanguard fleet: 1. Sta smg, nade pistol, amr/laser cannon 2. Dcs, nade pistol, stalwart Stalwart at highest rof actually does really well for the overseers, takes out shields quick, helps with voteless and has mobile reload. What do you guys suggest to run with scorcher/purifier/blitzer? I tried a few of the support weapons but it just have certain drawbacks such as running stalwart with scorcher gives you very good ttk on overseers similar to stalwart but not as good as dcs on harvesters, blitzer has bad range especially if you want to be mobile and the illuminates dont really chase you that hard like bugs and automations do with the hunters and jetpack bots which pounce on you.
Totally agree. I love doing black box missions so I have a good reason to volunteer to go for the one-handed StA smg. The MP-Knight has pretty similar stats, but the StA just feels right.
