I use this, this move is ultimately effective for dangerous jumpshooters, and people you can't leave open. I'm one of them, so I approve this message. Many variations with it, but a "hands up fake" coming out of a behind the back or out of a heso, might be close to a double dribble/traveling call.

Imagine someone doing what the professor did at 2:52 in person as an actual viable way to play basketball. it's crazy that the professor basically invented his own unique way to play basketball and be unguardable.
I think a longer side step also helps sell the move especially if your defender is taller...makes them think your trying to create as much space as possible for the jumper.

A helpful tip: dribble the ball really hard after the fake, or you are just staying at where you did the fake.
