Killer price at 19000.00 down here in Australia. Bought one, where do i start? All i can say is, take a demo ride. Totally awesome bike. Excellent build quality ,solid strong industrial like construction. Love the sound of the boxer engine, good pick up when you need it. Added a 20mm wunderlich handle bar riser to sit more up right on a motard position & a bmw black canvas panier on the right side, that can be removed & used as a shoulder carry bag.
Liked all of your reviews up until today. Didn't mind the trash talk just seemed like you didn't feel like making a video and went ahead anyway. Looking forward to the next review as I do enjoy and appreciate your opinions.
I love your riding style and the reviews are always entertaining. Screw the naysayers judging by their comments most of them aren't real motorcycle riders. It's amazing what the Germans have done in the last 10 years.

At least you ride the damn thing. So many reviewers barely rev it. I like basic bikes. I like this. But I'll keep my basic bike. As a point of reference, BMW's go wrong, the parts wear out prematurely. The gearbox on my GS1100 went at 50,000 miles etc. So the Swiss Army Knife comment is misleading. I enjoyed that, lad.

This appears pretty much the same bike as the Scrambler under the paint. You called that a slow handling pig. What's different about this one? Just the tires? I like your videos by the way, and always watch as soon as you put out a new one.
As far as I can see, it is just the tires. I'm pretty sure the geometry is the same, and they both have 19" front wheels. Perhaps I've just ridden them enough by now and an used to the feel. I think I was a bit harsh on the Scrambler because the tires really pissed me off:)

You might want to take a look at the KTM Freeride. I think that bike is very cool and has broad applications. I think it could work for you.
