I think you’re misunderstanding Psalm 127:2 Which is pretty much saying that it’s useless to work from early morning until late at night just to get food to eat. This has nothing tot do with being productive or lacking in sleep because of work. It’s pointing out that you shouldn’t overwork yourself if all you’re doing it for is to survive.

Been struggling with sleep for almost 20 years. Only get between. 2-4 hours per night. Last five years some nights i get none. I have tried everything. Been praying for a miracle..

My brother (25 yr old) face the same challenge 😢 but for him, maybe its been abt 4 yrs since experiencing it severely. It sucks there doesnt seem to be a cure.. We've spent a lot of money already trying to figure out how to help him 😅 Sleep consultation, labs, test, pills, - nothing is pointing to anyth causing his chronic insomnia and his situation isnt improving. He has a cpap machine now bc he has mild sleep apnea apparently, but he still feels sleepy all the time 😢 Reminded of the bleeding woman.. she tried all things but it was Jesus who healed her. Waiting on a miracle as well! Or more direction from God on what else to do (my brother is a follower of Christ)

Maybe like how to deal with thoughts of life not going your way and how to reframe?maybe also like how to how to have compassion, move forward in the betweens and/or how to get out middle end of the year rut. lol this video addressed some of that.

It’s sad because in my day to day working life, I can’t do half of these things 😢 I work 12 hour shifts from 8am to 8pm, by the time I get home it’s around 9pm, no time to really unwind and sometimes I go straight to bed even without dinner to at least get 6 hours sleep before I’m back awake at 4:30 am 🫠 but this night routine sounds like a dream 😊
Same! But maybe on the days we don’t work 12s we can try the night routine! I’m a nurse (maybe you are too?) and I’m also so exhausted after my shifts!

I fully agree with all the points. Routines are saving our lives 😆 anyway, it is hard to achieve them 100% of the time, we live in dynamic world, with kids, with unexpected situations so we should allow ourselves to miss perfection in routines 😊
Cozy! I already knew some of these and implement them.... I fall off track a lot (as a college student) but I make sure to quickly get back on it! And if nothing else I try to get at least 7 -8 hours rest/sleep. These were great!
Slowly I’ve been changing my habits as I understand I can’t make sustainable drastic changes. I’ve watched tv until midnight most nights this semester but after watching your videos I decided to set my phone screentime to 10pm so when I’m watching my show it’ll turn off then. When my screentime is up I put my phone on the charger and try to pick up a book and allow myself to get naturally sleepy. It’s slow and inconsistent right now, but this is my first goal before I lock in during Christmas break, and I know I can do it as I’m starting to look forward to that reading time now! Cozy! I actually have been struggling to get stuff done. God has put in my heart some projects for a long time but I haven't done anything yet. In my case, my work schedule is not in my hands. They're not consistent. Sometimes I need to wake up reeeeally early while other days I work from 4pm through 12am. But there are stuff I can do to maximize my health, sleep, and productivity as much as I can. I can't just not even try. Let's get healthy! Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit so we need to take care of it as much as possible.

Cozy! There was a lot that I liked about this video. Some of the steps aren’t going to work for me & that’s perfectly reasonable. But I love the encouragement of slowing down in the evenings and just picking a few things to enjoy before bed. I also love the girly girl time of watching Gilmore girls before bed because my husband and I are currently going through that show & now I feel like God is giving me the thumbs up on having a cozy routine which is allowed to include a little gg 😂 Thanks for the tips!!
Iam trying dividing task as backlog, queue, and work-in-progress. Also to put them in calendar, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, quarterly, monthly. With God's grace, I feel more accomplished and energize.

Well, I go to bed around 10 pm and get up around 7 am. I'm this kind of person that needs more sleep than average. Struggling with permanent tiredness recently, though. Me too. I work 6pm to 6am. I commute an hour and a half both ways. I only have saturdays off because I also have a second job.

I have been in that horrible sleep cycle as well, just recently been able to start waking up Early but I have really been needing a good and COZY night routine, I will start implementing some of the habits you've created along with customizing it to my schedule. Thank you so so much.

Cozy! There was a lot that I liked about this video. Some of the steps aren’t going to work for me & that’s perfectly reasonable. But I love the encouragement of slowing down in the evenings and just picking a few things to enjoy before bed. I also love the girly girl time of watching Gilmore girls before bed because my husband and I are currently going through that show & now I feel like God is giving me the thumbs up on having a cozy routine which is allowed to include a little gg 😂 Thanks for the tips!!

Iam trying dividing task as backlog, queue, and work-in-progress. Also to put them in calendar, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, quarterly, monthly. With God's grace, I feel more accomplished and energize.

Ashley, thank you for this video! I'm surprised how my night routine is similar to yours, although I live on the another continent and got completely different job. Well, I go to bed around 10 pm and get up around 7 am. I'm this kind of person that needs more sleep than average. Struggling with permanent tiredness recently, though. Probably caused by stress and anxiety. But whatever, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!
