You should soak the fabric sample in red wine overnight. Like you didn't notice it immediately and its really soaked into the couch. Just an idea 💡 Edit: wow! To the people confused, I just mean she should let it completely soak in something like wine, instead of rinsing it as soon as she gets something on it.
To be fair, getting a stain out of a cushion is harder because you can't really scrub it like with the fabric swatch. I end up having to dab to soak out the soap and water when I've cleaned a cushion before. I am amazed at it getting out of the fabric swatch though.

I actually worked for a paint manufacturing company and the hardest color to get out of anything is a safety grade yellow. Try to get that out of a white couch.

My mom had a solid white couch when I was 4. During the spring and summer she would drag it outside, hose it off and bleach it and it would look brand new when she got done. It always dried fast in the summer heat we get. Eventually we moved and she left it right where it was in that house... then bought dark green furniture for the new place! I can't blame her either!
