I think their Album their " Parachute" just shades SF Sorrow. possibly because its recent re-packaging has been supported by their Psychedelic classics " Defecting Grey", " Walking through my dreams.." etc. I cannot think of a higher acolade than Rolling Stone mag voting Parachute their Album of the Year. I love the guitar work in Parachute with Victor Unitt on loan ! Such was their standard , that the superlative Pete Tolson joinned after Vivtor left .
I wouldn't rule out John and Wally coming back in the band. Not so sure we'll see Skip play again, he's had health probs. The band are planning to do some S.F. Sorrow shows late in the year, so I'm hoping John and Wally are back for that. Should be great anyway.
How old is Dick Taylor now, I saw the band in Darmstadt in the early 80s and Dick looked old then! I have their 1st. LP somewhere, somehow it survived through the years.....

Dick has always looked "older". I think he's about 65 now, only a couple of years older that Phil.
Phil May (*1944) vs. Dick Taylor (*1943) just one year !
