Bought my 2010 brand new off the show room floor. It still runs like it's brand new. Its one of those bikes if you have one you know. One of the best cruisers Honda has ever made .
I love my Fury. It is a great around town or short cruise bike and it is drop dead gorgeous in my opinion. I hope they continue for a few more year with it... maybe a few small tweaks but basically the same bike. The styling is classic and timeless .. it is the Honda version of 60 year old custom chopper. CHOPPERS FOREVER
@@kevinfrenyea3925 No, not really. I like this for around town and rides less than 2 hours one way. If I'm going to be out longer, I'll take the 'wing.
I own a 2013 fury and purchased it new. I love it but I have made a number of changes to it. The most work I did was getting rid of the ridiculous rear fender. I love my bike and get a lot of compliments on it. Choppers will never die. My first bike was a chopper back in 1974.
Heck yeah, always cool hearing about people that have owned them that long as it shows you really enjoy the bike! What rear fender did you end up going with or was it a one-off piece? It's amazing what fenders can do to change the whole look on it.
I had a 2012 model, it was probably the best bike I've owned.l made the mistake of trading it in for a Ducati, only if you could go back in time, it would still be with me.
I have always been a fan of the chopper look. Honda did a fantastic job in 2010, introducing the frame, rake and stretched fuel tank on the Fury, Sabre, Stateline and Interstate. I hope Honda will continue to offer some form of this stretched, sleek look for another decade.
I agree, hopefully they'll keep this setup around! It was the best looker of the bunch in my opinion and has aged incredibly well considering, it just needs a little love in a few spots to help it continue to survive over the next few years and hopefully thrive in the grand scheme of things.
I had a 2010 Fury. I loved it. It was a fun bike to ride, and the custom cobra 2 into 1 exhaust it had sounded amazing. And against what most people would do, I made a 14 hour straight ride, only stopping for gas and to eat. The bike did surprisingly well, considering I would never recommend doing that. It's gonna be a hard sell getting this bike to move forward in sales. The chopper style bikes will never completely die, but it is a style that I believe is somewhat of a cult style, as almost every custom style is. The chopper scene like most comes in ebbs and flows. And right now the bobbers, and scramblers are really the rage. And even more is the adv market. The Fury is a chopper styled bike, and it's intention is to maintain as much simplicity as possible, with good lines. It's a great bike, and a good idea, but it is a bike aimed at a small demographic that tends to very picky in what it's followers choose. Most people consider Honda motorcycles for comfort and reliability... not for hotrod customization. And choppers will always be considered old school. Most bikers I know that ride Honda choppers are riding old custom built 750cc four cylinder chops on rigid frames. And the crowds looking for the best of both... old school esthetics and new school tech, usually go for clones such as big dogs. The Fury is somewhat of a niche bike in my opinion. It's a great motorcycle, one I'd definitely own again, but I don't see it's sales dramatically improving at any point. There are definitely some simple improvements that could definitely be a game changer for the bike itself, but I don't know that those improvements could move the needle on sales, especially considering most people can put those changes into effect with fairly minimal costs and effort. The lighting is a relatively simple and cost-effective change that can make a nice difference. The breathing and exhaust is a little more expensive, but definitely worth the price for the upgrade. And that's a change which should definitely be made by the owner, simply because there are so many custom options available. And lastly, the biggest change, which I do believe would be a major game changer, that could possibly make a bit of an impact is the fenders. The tank is super nice, but the fenders... especially the rear could really use some updating. Honda could definitely make some improvements there in my opinion. The Fury is a great bike, and I miss mine, but I don't see it's sales ever really drastically improving. I believe that it has potential for decent sales, but not great sales. I believe Honda sees that, and therefore they don't want to axe the bike, but they also don't want to put forth the resources to invest in any major updates as they don't see the value in it. And as for the color, I don't know why, but I really like it. Those are my thoughts. Thanks for the video.
Riding a Fury for approximately 10 years. A) More comfortable Solo Seat for longer cruises. B) Improved appearance between the rear fender and tire C) A sixth gear for hwy driving. D) More Horse Power E) Sissy Bar 24-36”. F) A fatter rear tire. G) Make the chin scoop with LED light kit Standard A greater selection of custom standard options such as: 1) Phone Cradle w/ charging 2) Floor Boards 3) Mirrors to reduce vibration and higher for better visability 4) Drink Holder for when you are stopped 5) Chrome Rims, 6) LED head lamp, signals and break lights 7) Risers to improve clearance of handlebar with tank. 8) Cobra Speedster Slasher Style Exhaust only better quality 9) Bagger Style Faring w/ Hard Bags Package colour matched. 10) More Colours no matter what the year: Black, Silver, Glint Blue, Dark Blue, White…that’s it!
A lot of chopper enthusiasts look down on this bike, for being a mass-produced chopper. I, on the other hand, really like this bike and almost bought it over my 2021 Rebel 1100DCT. I think if this bike came in DCT, I would have bought it instead. I hope they keep it in the lineup and consider the DCT option. The only things I'd change is to put higher bars and a better exhaust on it. Love your videos, man. peace
Yessir, you hit the nail on the head with that first sentence! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the DCT too and how you almost bought one if it would've been available with that option. It's always interesting to here people's mindsets and how or why they went this way or that way when it comes to buying a bike. It's going to be interesting to see what Honda does over the next few years with their cruiser lineup and offering a DCT as that's the way the future is headed as long as DCT sales continue to rise like they have been. Thanks bud, appreciate the kind words and support! Stay safe out there on that Rebel ;)
The 5spd is killing this bike. I’ll buy one as soon as they drop a 6spd in it and kill the ABS breaks. Bike needs to be in the 100 Plus HP range as well. Don’t ever stop making this bike. It just needs the upgrades I mentioned.
Have you actually ridden one before you make those comments? There is zero reason to have a 6th gear on this bike let alone 100HP. That's not what it's made for. Sounds like you're confusing it with a $23K Harley.
I agree. It needs a 6 speed, and if it had one, I would buy it right now. A six speed has a lower first gear for better launches, and less clutch burning, and it has a nice high top gear for fuel economy and engine loafing at highway speeds. 5 speeds are from the 1980s.
Part of that bike charm is it’s old school look and genre. Chopper like bikes still do appeal to somewhat older crowd and even some of the younger guys that have “old souls”. Personally I think Honda will axe the bike very soon which is why I’m going to grab one as soon as I can afford it. I do like the bright yellow scheme. A set of black studded bags would work very well with the look of that bike.
I bought one yrs ago and still have it. Mine is black. I've changed many things on this bike. But a 6 spd is needed. All things considered she rides like a dream.
Heck yeah, thanks for sharing - it's always cool hearing from current owners! I loved that color scheme back in the day! They played around with some cool wheel / frame color combos back then.
Nice! Those old Plymouth Fury's were good looking cars, I'm more partial to the coupe but the 4 door wasn't a bad looker at all and lol you're right, nothing quite like this Fury ;)
I bought the 2022 Fury about 3 weeks ago, and so far I'm loving it! I had a 2014 Interstate, which was a good bike, but it just never felt "right" to me. The Fury feels perfect to me, although an LED headlight and turn signals would be nice
I love Honda more than any other brand but sometimes I question their choices for the US. Still wishing for a cool retro. Maybe they will surprise us next year.
lol same here bud, same here! I'm a massive fanboy but sometimes I really question their choices and would LOVE to sit down and talk with some of the higher-ups just to see what their thought process was on this decisions or that decision etc. I think it'd be super interesting!
The Fury feels great to Ride I'm a 5'3-inch Person. seat heights are perfect BUT the foot pegs are out there for short legs you have to stretch and for long rides and their NO adjustment to the peg's that would help a lot. and it will make your legs tired, other than that very nice bike.
Aesthetically appealing. Never seen one on the road. I think the only reason they've continued it is to recoup the development costs since they release it right as the chopper craze died. Thank god.
I own a 2013 Fury. It's a fun bike for blasting off from stoplight to stoplight. More than an hour straight on the highway starts to feel like work With fuel prices likely to keep rising I am always on the lookout for something in the 400cc range for a daily rider. If Honda made a shrunken version say Grom sized with a chromed out single jug I'd probably buy it and have both.
I’m a tall guy and when it comes to bikes that fit my size, there’s really only 2 or 3 to choose from. This is the sexiest mass produced bike on the road IMO. I have the 2016 Blue model. Improvements? How about official Honda saddlebags and windshield options for people that like long rides. This bike is SURPRISINGLY comfortable for long rides. I wish the wind didn’t hit my chest so much and that I could travel with a tent and sleeping bag and such. Quick release options are a must because the styling probably looks best when putting around town without these options permanently affixed. How about a fuel gauge? I hate trying to make out what the digital numbers are on my trip meter. At a glance fuel gauge would be SO helpful. How about a 6 speed transmission? I think it’s a bit wound up to high with only 5 speeds at 80-85mph. There are a lot of 80mph zones here in Utah. I worry the motor is getting overly stressed. With all that said, however, I’ll probably still ALWAYS have a fury.
I bought a 2012 Sabre 12 months ago imported from America, which continues to give me so much pleasure both in its looks and in its rideability. I was however a little disappointed that the 2022 model Fury is so similar in spec to my 10 year old bike and whereas my colour scheme is Pearl Blue frame and tank ,the yellow does not fill me with joy! Any road up I have the only Sabre in Cornwall UK and absolutely love it!
Heck yeah, that's awesome! You don't hear about many guys over there importing our cruisers so thanks for sharing. Hopefully it's easier for you guys to import them than it is for us lol! Thanks for sharing and ride safe on that rare Sabre of yours bud ;)
This is a lovely color scheme. One of my favorites that Honda has offered. I'm a sports touring kind of rider but have always felt drawn to this bike. I know I eventually will get one to scratch my cruiser itch.
Thanks for posting up! I love hearing the different opinions on color schemes etc as it's all subjective since we all like different things. Hopefully you get to satisfy that itch soon lol, they are a blast to get out on and just relax.
Wanted Fury, still do. a 6 speed tran. would be good, mini ape option, LED headlight. but the Fury is the best production bike on the road, because it does look different. so what if it doesn't do 125 mph. it rocks!!
I prefer the blue over the yellow. The gauges I don’t mind and even the lights; it’s all retro. I love the ABS and driveshaft. If they gave this bike the DCT transmission I’d be all over it! Twist n go
We're not far off from seeing more DCT cruisers after the introduction of the Rebel 1100 with that option. As long as DCT sales continue to rise, we'll see more and more new DCT additions and I'm all for it!
@@HondaProKevin me too!! I injured my left hand in a bike accident and so it’s much easier for me to ride in comfort with DCT without having have to worry about my hand swelling up or arthritic pain which is sure to come and all that.
I like the yellow, but absolutely despise that they switched the black frame parts to chrome. I, personally, would’ve loved the look with the yellow and black.
what they should do is have 2 models the one in the video obviously being base model, but for upgraded model have it 6spd and bigger engine, no ABS or if your gonna buy it brand new have it as an option, tachometer, gas gauge, gear indicator, more color options, black frame and LED lights also if they could make the gas tank a bit bigger that would be nice. exhaust, handle bars, floorboards all that stuff doesn't matter people usually get the after market stuff anyways when it comes to that kind of thing. I love the design just needs to be beefed up some and for me it would be the perfect bike, still kinda is as i plan to get one, but if they could make those upgrades it would be the crem dela crem. I was considering a victory as well, but i thought if something goes wrong might be impossible to find a part that i would need to replace and knowing my luck that's exactly how that would go then id just be stuck with a dead horse
I always liked the look of the bike. It's a shame such a big engine is so lacking in torque. We expect low hp from a cruiser, but the torque should be up over a hundred otd and then we have something fun. I'd like to see them keep it in the lineup but tune the engine for more power
Same here bud, it has the looks department on lock but to have such a large engine pumping out those lower numbers is kinda crazy in today's day and age - in my opinion.
@@warlok9 Horsepower is only useful in the racetrack. It's a potential number. Potentially, one could get the highest horsepower from a bike, but truth is half if not even less of the total or max. number (the highest number is always advertised, too often suspiciously omitting the RPM regime at which it is generated) we use in daily riding. Horsepower is an overrated figure for normal use.
Honda makes quality bikes, to be sure. I ride an ‘03 Sabre 1100 and it suits me fine. I have it set up with a Corbin saddle for two up riding, saddle bags and a sissy bar with a rack for practical utility. Shaft drive means never having to mess with a nasty chain too. I really like the lines of the Fury but I think it would be nice if they made it more friendly for two up riding and gave it some meaningful horsepower. That said, I might buy one anyway because I do like the chopperesque styling.
I love the furys and own a 2012 model..I was really hoping they'd up the power just a bit and put in a 6 speed transmission. Since 2021 I was going to trade mine in for a new .unfortunately last year they didn't buy it and this year they released only a yellow paint job ..Come on Honda a least give a option for black
It's a shame, you'd think by now they would've shown it a little love with a tiny upgrade here and there to give loyal customers like you something to upgrade your old bike from. The next year or two is going to be interesting as it may not be around for much longer, if they don't do something to spark sales again.
I really like the look of the Fury, honestly not crazy about the Pearl Yellow color, but into every life some rain must fall. Over all good looking sled, gotta test ride one soon. Thanks for the vid. Peace
I ran the IronButt 1000 on my 2019 Fury. 1086 miles in 19 hours. It’s a capable long hauler if you set it up right. It’s my around town ride for the most part. As for the 2022, I personally think the abs really is going to hurt the sales combined with the colors just looks like Honda is trying to use up leftover parts and surplus paint
I like the shape and style, however,i also like floorboards, and 5 gallons of fuel. They could also clean up the lines by putting the blinkers on the backside of the mirrors, and add some highway lights for those dark roads with no street lights. I rode a hardtail for 10 years, that had a 3.5 gallon tank for fuel, and i really loved it. I'm not impressed with the way Harley Davidson is going, and the attitude is really changing, that its the person and not the bike‼️
As a long time rider, I see the Honda Fury has numerous possibilities too continue the custom look. Honda, I believe missed their mark by not providing more color options. The mag wheels need too be tossed or Polish/chrome them. Black paint doesn’t cut it. Return the color of the frame too gloss black or the color of the tin/plastic on the bike. Lower fork legs should be chromed or polished for a custom look. Thanks Honda for knocking off the blacked out look on the engine. The stock exhaust looks good, but they to would be replaced. Chrome the handle bars and upper controls. Other than that pretty nice low end custom.
I own 2 Harleys and a Big Dog MC. I would consider a Fury if it had a greater rake. In it's current style it looks like a mini chopper. And a minimum engine of 1700 would be nice.
@@HondaProKevin I'd buy one if I could find a person or shop that could do that without screwing up the bike and charging an arm or a leg. CA is ridiculously expensive right now. For everything. I'm not buying a damn thing until the madness stops. Don't get me started on the car industry either. People are so stupid paying these insane markups.
Australia does some weird things when it comes to picking which bikes they want to import and sadly I don't have any real connections there so I'm just guessing... With that being said, I don't think you guys will be getting the Fury this year - sadly.
Hello fellow Furians...I own a 2015 Mercedes Black 1300CX Honda Fury. Metallic Gold spoke wheels, Cobra exhaust, Mustang single seat. Well balanced and as quick as it needs to be. I absolutely love my cruiser. A lot of looks and compliments. Just a Boatload of aftermarket parts to pick from. Though not totally stock, it's a great place to start.Oh I almost forgot, I do like the Pearl Yellow paint. Should be on a black frame I think. Ride smart and enjoy your day.
I’m an avid Harley-Davidson rider/fan but I think the Fury is a pretty good looking machine. I also think it looks enjoyable to ride but the chopper days have passed it by. From where I sit it looks like performance baggers are what’s currently more popular. But that is just my opinion.
they just have to keep it up for 3-5 more years and the trend will be back. i see alot of younger boomer and older gen X being nostalgic about jesse james etc ... its about to come back
As an owner, I would like to see a seat that doesn't give me 'roids (changed mine to C&C), Bars that reach a human male's arms on long rides (bring them back 3" and more narrow), and have some hooks on the frame for attaching any kind of storage. I wanted to ride it to sturgis this last year. That said, I know I'm guilty of expecting a Goldwing out of a bar hopper.
lol that one cracked me up as you're spot on when it comes to the seat bud! I like the other ideas too, definitely worthy changes for sure. I think we all do the same, we buy something and are guilty of expecting or wanting more out of what we bought so you're definitely not alone there ;)
I've got a corbin king and queen seat that is the most comfortable thing ever and then i bought a bag that attaches right to the seat for when i'm riding solo and want to carry stuff.. then when i want to barhop i just switch back to the factory seat.
They discontinued the ole Rebel 250 back in 2016 when the Rebel 300 replaced it for 2017 otherwise we'd have some newer videos of it ;) Great bikes though!
Surprised that they still sell this model for 12 years so far. I like the canary yellow but I think a black frame would look better. I love the engine, it is like my VTX1300R, which I still own today for 16 years. If Honda would bring back the VTX1300, it would have fuel injection, also a six speed would be nice. It seems like the cruiser market is not that popular with the Japanese manufactures these days. It feels like that Adventure Bikes are the hot topic these days. Excellent video Kevin. Ride safe!
I'm surprised as well but then again I try to remind myself that it's actually pretty common when it comes to Honda and not updating their cruisers for many many years. I think we just get spoiled by seeing a lot of other models updated pretty regularly and it's disappointing seeing these bikes kinda ending up like the red-headed step-child so-to-say lol. I can understand from the business side of things though and if that segment of the market isn't selling well, you need to put that money towards what is selling and that's adventure bikes etc right now. The whole cruiser hayday like when your VTX1300R was in production is long gone sadly and you've got one to hold on to for sure, those bikes are starting to increase in value now after hitting bottom a few years back. Great bikes and one of the best cruisers Honda has made to date! Thanks as always for the kind words and support Gus, I really appreciate it ;)
I’ve got the VTX1300C. Great bike. But I got tired of getting my ass kicked on road bumps and picked up a VStrom 1000. I love both bikes. I ride the Strom with my buddys Multistrada and the VTX when I ride with the Harley guys.
I'm still learning how to use this camera and editing etc so that's why there are some shots that kind of make the color look different but lighting also plays a big role in how it pops. It's a very vibrant shade of yellow, definitely not what I would describe as pale, in person. Hope that helps bud ;)
Thank you, and it was pretty ‘disturbing’ as after my comment I watched another video and the paint looked dull as a banana! (And I already have a Monkey!)😂 I retired at my cabin on the lake, so obviously this will be a low mile, check out the parks and swim area chick magnet, lol, BUT along with that comes rough roads, and some speed bumps in parks.
Update the instrument panel. That thing is dated and granny-ish. I think all modern bikes should have a cruise control option. With the long lines of this bike, the fuel tank needs to be upped to 5 gallon capacity at a minimum. A cruiser should be able to cruise! Stylistically, have the fuel tank follow the lines of the upper frame and cover it to keep it hidden. Enclose the neck frame with a shroud to clean up the lines and tuck the ABS lines there as well. I totally agree with the LED headlight and blinkers upgrade is needed suggestion. Upgrade to a six speed transmission by changing the gear ratios 1-5 to improve short shifting acceleration and make six a comfy interstate overdrive gear. Ta Da, the perfect Honda Cruiser for the ages is born.
I wish Honda would come out with a big v-twin cruiser! Something sleek like the Fury, but with more power! I like the looks of the Fury, but would have to pass on the Yellow.
Exactly, something sleek that doesn't weigh 800+ pounds with some actual power behind it and I think it'd do well. Honda hasn't really had a power cruiser in quite some time and the closest thing to that in the last couple of decades would be the Rebel 1100 which isn't saying a lot when you compare it against other power cruisers on the market.
How many of these do they sell a year on average in the US? I've only sat on them in the showroom. Need to find a used one to test ride. I would put buckhorn bars, and change out the turn signals with LEDs.
Sadly, Honda rarely lets information like that out on most models. Even as a dealer, finding that out on 99% of their models is next to impossible. If I was a betting man though, I'd wager that in the US there are less than 1,500 sold per year. A lot of dealers have gotten to where they don't normally stock them because of sales dipping and then you have some that will stock them and have custom paint thrown on them and modify it etc to try and help turn them. The used market is crazy right now so be careful with some of the values out there...
This bike is awesome 👌🏻 But need some improvements like led lights, more colour options and around 100 hp power and 120 lb ft torque as it's a 1300cc bike 😕
Next model should switch to the HONDA 1800cc w/ a six speed. Buddy of mine has a VTX1800 in this crazy green in his barn with under 2k on the odo. I wish he would dig it out so I could put the work in and get her on the road for him.
Ohhhh yeah, that'd be awesome to see Honda throw a massive engine like that in this chassis with a few other tweaks - it'd definitely help sales compared to where they're at now. Best of luck on convincing your buddy to dig her out of the barn, those bikes are steadily increasing in value now after they hit rock bottom a few years ago. People are realizing Honda isn't going to build anything like that anytime soon so they'll pony up.
It's an awesome bike. I have the 2016 model. Its great. The sliver frame looks amazing but it doesn't really go with the yellow. I think they should have gone with a different color for the frame. Either a black or dark blue.
That's the general consensus out of most owners which is a rarity for sure. It's not perfect but at the end of the day, they're great bikes! I'm with you on that, I think they tried to make the frame pop by itself when it's tied in with such a bright color but I don't know about that one, I'm thinking a darker color would have been better too and I like the idea of a dark blue, that'd be different.
OH! And the brake light needs to grab everyone’s attention better. The LEDs all point the same direction. Those lights need to REALLY blind the people behind you and they don’t.
In my opinion... It was a mistake replacing the VTX1300R / VTX1300T with the Stateline / Interstate and then swapping out the VTX1300C with the Sabre. Those VT1300 models had nothing over the VTX1300 models aside from fuel injection and the vast majority of people I talked with back then on the showroom floor when this transition happened, hated it. They all loved the older VTX lineup's styling over the VT models aside from the Fury as it was generally loved, even if people didn't want that style of bike they appreciated what it was and it was something different at the end of the day whereas the other models just seemed like a horrible copy / paste from the VTX and like they didn't really put much effort into it. It was evident that they made a mistake though as sales dropped BIG time and they had to keep throwing us dealers rebates at the time to try and help move them and shortly thereafter they all disappeared except for the Fury. Honda has a lot of homeruns but they also have some flops and make some mistakes in my opinion, ushering in those models to try and replace the legendary VTX1300 platform was one of their biggest mistakes from the last couple decades.
@@HondaProKevin absolutely, the vtx was such an amazing bike that a lot of people could enjoy for such an amazing price. I've seen people start out on them as starter bikes and I've also seen experienced riders have them as a secondary or even primary bike. All Honda needed to do was switch the vtx1300 to fuel injection and it would still be selling like hotcakes today. I mean, the shadow 750 is a great bike and all, but the sound of that big single pin crank motor is just music to my ears. Hopefully Honda will take note to consumers and hopefully bring back the vtx lineup.
A lot of people including some owners, get this bike wrong. It's an economical cruiser that's comfortable riding position but a necessary change is a- mustang seat, extra negative earth strap on the battery and 350cca battery. 7th gear is only needed for those tempted to speed and that's their choice but can't blame the bike for that desire.
Bought my 2010 brand new off the show room floor. It still runs like it's brand new. Its one of those bikes if you have one you know. One of the best cruisers Honda has ever made .

You hit the nail on the head with everything bud, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts ;)
@@HondaProKevin you're welcome
I had a late 90s Virago 750. It was shaft drive. Such a nice set up
Riding a Fury for approximately 10 years. A) More comfortable Solo Seat for longer cruises. B) Improved appearance between the rear fender and tire C) A sixth gear for hwy driving. D) More Horse Power E) Sissy Bar 24-36”. F) A fatter rear tire. G) Make the chin scoop with LED light kit Standard
A greater selection of custom standard options such as: 1) Phone Cradle w/ charging 2) Floor Boards 3) Mirrors to reduce vibration and higher for better visability 4) Drink Holder for when you are stopped 5) Chrome Rims, 6) LED head lamp, signals and break lights 7) Risers to improve clearance of handlebar with tank. 8) Cobra Speedster Slasher Style Exhaust only better quality 9) Bagger Style Faring w/ Hard Bags Package colour matched. 10) More Colours no matter what the year: Black, Silver, Glint Blue, Dark Blue, White…that’s it!
and suddenly it's 25K.
Yeah maybe the DCT with come with a Tampon holder for you? LMAO
@@anthonysilvestri4946 Dude, if you're going to be a jerk-wad, at least make sure your sentences make sense before you hit the save button.
A set of black studded bags would work very well with the look of that bike.
two years later, what’s going on
I bought one yrs ago and still have it. Mine is black. I've changed many things on this bike. But a 6 spd is needed. All things considered she rides like a dream.
Not a cruiser guy but boy does that bike look good. They have nailed it in the looks department
I have the 2015 Fury, black with the bronze frame, just a fun motorcycle to cruise around on the highways/city with
Heck yeah, thanks for sharing - it's always cool hearing from current owners! I loved that color scheme back in the day! They played around with some cool wheel / frame color combos back then.
I own this motorcycle. It's fantastic!. It handles perfectly. It goes as fast as it needs to go. It's super smooth.
My grandfather had a Fury. It was a 4 door, 1969 Plymouth. Great car. BTW, it looked nothing like this Fury.
The Fury feels perfect to me, although an LED headlight and turn signals would be nice
one of my Dream Bike
Thank god.
Coverage. Detailed information pacing of commentary all excellent. Can't imagine a better review.
Thanks a million for the kind words and support Tom, I really appreciate it...
I think it's perfect the way it is 🖤
I own a 2013 Fury. It's a fun bike for blasting off from stoplight to stoplight. More than an hour straight on the highway starts to feel like work
With fuel prices likely to keep rising I am always on the lookout for something in the 400cc range for a daily rider. If Honda made a shrunken version say Grom sized with a chromed out single jug I'd probably buy it and have both.
I would really love it if Honda would bring back the VTX
Awesome feedback man and very good points, all the way around! I can't argue with any of them lol ;)
Thanks for sharing!
i love the Fury(i ride a rebel 500) the only change, other than HP is just a bit wider front tire, not a lot of tire patch with that skinny tire.
I love the Fury.
Wanted Fury, still do. a 6 speed tran. would be good, mini ape option, LED headlight. but the Fury is the best production bike on the road, because it does look different. so what if it doesn't do 125 mph. it rocks!!
Most beautiful mass produced cruiser
Anything shaft drive is a good idea
100%! Sometimes I'd rather have a chain so I can play around with gearing easily but shaft drive all day on platforms like this and many others.
I’ve ridden nothing but shaft drive bikes since ‘78. Miles and miles with very low maintenance
what they should do is have 2 models the one in the video obviously being base model, but for upgraded model have it 6spd and bigger engine, no ABS or if your gonna buy it brand new have it as an option, tachometer, gas gauge, gear indicator, more color options, black frame and LED lights also if they could make the gas tank a bit bigger that would be nice. exhaust, handle bars, floorboards all that stuff doesn't matter people usually get the after market stuff anyways when it comes to that kind of thing.
Yeah, in on a FTR1200 S which puts out the same torque, double the horsepower, weighs 150lbs less and from a smaller v twin.
The Fury never made it to the Philippine market Honda lineup. Homesick and missing my Fury in the US.
It's wild how different the lineups are from one country to the next! Hopefully you get to head back home and enjoy that Fury soon bud ;)
I am glad I got the 2019 blue model, don't like the yellow in combination with the silver frame
Nice, the Pearl Hawkseye Blue in 2019 is B-E-A-UTIFUL!
I have the 2019 dark blue/black frame Fury and besides the exhaust i wouldnt change anything👍🏻
@@nunyabizz6895 same here. I worry about backfiring, the check engine light staying on . The stock exhaust is the only thing I don't like on mine
I have a 2013 Fury and love it, though I'd like a 6th gear.
This thing looks nice! Thanks for the video
Appreciate ya Kyle!
Hope you and your family have a great Christmas!
@@HondaProKevin you too!
Such a gorgeous bike on my radar for my collection. Just subbed great job fam
Thanks bud, appreciate the kind words and support ;)
@@HondaProKevin check out My bikes when ya get time too please
I love the furys and own a 2012 model..I was really hoping they'd up the power just a bit and put in a 6 speed transmission. Since 2021 I was going to trade mine in for a new .unfortunately last year they didn't buy it and this year they released only a yellow paint job ..Come on Honda a least give a option for black
It's a shame, you'd think by now they would've shown it a little love with a tiny upgrade here and there to give loyal customers like you something to upgrade your old bike from. The next year or two is going to be interesting as it may not be around for much longer, if they don't do something to spark sales again.
Hard to believe black isn't available. Who does yellow?
Different strokes for different folks ..they could at least give us all options cause we all like different colors
Oh wow its a single crank pin very cool. If I outlast my 1100 shadow I will get one of these thats a big if lol!
I really like the look of the Fury, honestly not crazy about the Pearl Yellow color, but into every life some rain must fall. Over all good looking sled, gotta test ride one soon. Thanks for the vid. Peace
Hello, I think this engine need to put on Honda Shadow Phantom or 1.5000cc it really needs. What you think guys?
I ran the IronButt 1000 on my 2019 Fury.
1086 miles in 19 hours. It’s a capable long hauler if you set it up right. It’s my around town ride for the most part. As for the 2022, I personally think the abs really is going to hurt the sales combined with the colors just looks like Honda is trying to use up leftover parts and surplus paint
Why would ABS hurt sales?
love the look of the Honda Furi however I wish they had more color options, and bring the price back down to the 9k range!
Gives me some massive hope that Honda will make a 1100cc Honda Shadow phantom bike or (if I am blessed) a Aero with a 1100cc engine.
I like the shape and style, however,i also like floorboards, and 5 gallons of fuel.
They could also clean up the lines by putting the blinkers on the backside of the mirrors, and add some highway lights for those dark roads with no street lights.
I rode a hardtail for 10 years,that had a 3.5 gallon tank for fuel,and i really loved it.
I'm not impressed with the way Harley Davidson is going, and the attitude is really changing, that its the person and not the bike‼️
BTW, this is one of the best looking bike I've ever seen 😍 👌🏻
I feel a demanding urge to go buy this bike! 🤩🥳
I would definitely still buy one without hesitation 🙂
I own 2 Harleys and a Big Dog MC. I would consider a Fury if it had a greater rake. In it's current style it looks like a mini chopper. And a minimum engine of 1700 would be nice.
Would've looked way better if it was all blacked out with the yellow tank and fenders. Black & yellow is an excellent color combo.
I'd like to see one done-up like this, remove all the chrome / silver and just be black and yellow!
@@HondaProKevin I'd buy one if I could find a person or shop that could do that without screwing up the bike and charging an arm or a leg. CA is ridiculously expensive right now. For everything. I'm not buying a damn thing until the madness stops. Don't get me started on the car industry either. People are so stupid paying these insane markups.
is it going to be sold in Australia too ? cheers
Not a single video about Honda REBEL CMX250 - one of the most beautiful motorcycles of all time
They discontinued the ole Rebel 250 back in 2016 when the Rebel 300 replaced it for 2017 otherwise we'd have some newer videos of it ;)
Great bikes though!
They should do this with the DCT.
I agree! As long as we continue to see DCT sales increase, Honda will be expanding it over to more and more models in the cruiser lineup.
Funny same reason I clicked on video….they still making this bike?? I owned one 9 yes ago.
A lot of shots made it look more like a pale yellow, vs a very 'vibrant' bright yellow like I imagined.
Which is it?
Thank you.
(And I already have a Monkey!)😂
I retired at my cabin on the lake, so obviously this will be a low mile, check out the parks and swim area chick magnet, lol, BUT along with that comes rough roads, and some speed bumps in parks.
Can't argue there on bit ;)
I am shocked Honda still makes this bike. I don't think I have ever seen one on the street.
Good video.
Thanks Robert, I really appreciate the support!
A fan, i dont like choppers much but would not mind riding these
How many miles does the fury get per tank
Looks like a nice upgrade to my current Yamaha Bolt.
It’s a beautiful bike 🏍 love it as is
Honda here have dropped a lot of cruisers here in 2020, the only units they sell here is the Rebel line.
Will it be available in Canada as well?
Sadly, I don't believe Canada plans to import the Fury for 2022.
This bike is awesome 👌🏻
But need some improvements like led lights, more colour options and around 100 hp power and 120 lb ft torque as it's a 1300cc bike 😕
I still want one!
If it had a 6 speed I'd buy it today. When did they change the name from Stateline, to Sabre, to Fury?
Seems like a great bike but the single color option of yellow is bizarre.
You said the rear tire is a 200mmX80. Every dealer I've talked with said the rear tire is a 180mm????
OH! And the brake light needs to grab everyone’s attention better. The LEDs all point the same direction. Those lights need to REALLY blind the people behind you and they don’t.
I fail to understand why they dropped the vtx lineup but kept the fury 🤔
Agree
insect:lovely color!
I want that exact exhaust but the link doesn't work.
How much for 2017, excellent condition
Does the 2022 only come in yellow?
yup
Biggest change is get rid of those orange puffy turn signals. I had those on my Honda 90 back in 67
I don't like yellow but I do like it in black and blue
I wish it was like 4.5-5.5 gallon instead, still doesn't have a fuel gage
Amazing bike 😎
wow great one
Really nice video but my guy can you leave the texts up longer I can barely read anything before you drop them off. Thank you 🙏
Why was it stopped selling in Mexico? Is it very expensive to import the motorcycle to Mexico?
A lot of people including some owners, get this bike wrong. It's an economical cruiser that's comfortable riding position but a necessary change is a- mustang seat, extra negative earth strap on the battery and 350cca battery.
7th gear is only needed for those tempted to speed and that's their choice but can't blame the bike for that desire.
You meant 6th gear. Agree, seat isn't good. Otherwise a great cruiser
Hello my fellow Honda fury guys does anyone know a good passenger seat option I have 17 fury
Nice bike. Good price.
Great bike as is. Maybe stuff the CB1100’s engine into that frame
Would love one all blacked out
