    Sorry, but this shouldn’t be called a full comparison. So much time invested (ahem, gas fill ups) that could have been used to discuss the torque, transmissions, model options, colors, price, warranty, seat comfort, available accessories, gas tank size, estimated MPG, maintenance intervals, weights of bikes, weight capacities of bikes, mirror view ability, and much more. And before you challenge me to do my own videos, consider you are the dealer, I am not, and this is feedback offered for better reviews as a dealer. I suggest making a checklist of these key features and data desired by potential buyers and then spend time mentioning them when reviewing each bike. Nice bikes.

      Agreed. We didn't learn anything from this. 3 great bikes. But I'm not sure I would have included the shadow. Anyway thanks for the video. It's a good tool to drive sales not only for the dealership but you as well.

    My first motorcycle was the 2017 Honda rebel 500. Bought it brand spanking new in 2017. I did a 750-mile trip on that thing. 80 to 85 MPH, that thing was pegged out in 6th gear screaming all the way to my destination, and the only thing that killed me was my ass at the end of the trip. LOL. Honda makes incredible engines. Excellent fuel economy!

    In 1990, I bought an 82 Honda V45 Magna and immediately rode from San Diego to the Grand Canyon. That was my first great bike! In 2021, I bought a Honda Rebel 300 to commute. Tiny and buzzy, but good and 67 mpg. In 2021 I also bought a 2003 Harley Softail. All those cruisers are different, yet still perfect cruisers. Thanks for the review. I might have to get a Fury.

    I own a 2015 Honda Shadow Aero. So far, I love the bike and I can ride it all day. My only complaints about it are: There is no fuel gauge. After about 2 hours of riding, it starts to feel uncomfortable in the sitting position and eventually getting butt sores. So I would have to take frequent breaks. My bike only has 12k miles on it and my clutch sticks sometimes and getting the bike into neutral when stopped or parking it. When going on highways speeds or I should say 50 mph and up, I feel a lot of vibration on the bike. It's still smooth to ride. I would take a break every 3-4 hours and I can ride that bike all day long. This is just from my experience with a Honda shadow

    Really wish Honda would update the the lights and tachometer for the Honda Shadow, it really needs LED lights and a fuel gauge to keep with the times. And for the Phantom version, should probably have all black pipe instead of chrome. Other than that, the Shadow is a perfect 750cc V-twin. I loved my older 1100cc Handow Shadow, except that it was carburated and was hard start in the cold and had no fuel guage. The 1100 Rebel is great too, but for it's price the rear seat and rear pegs and windshield shouldn't be add ons, but should be standard.

      You can't throw the Rebel 1100's engine in a Honda Shadow chassis. That's why you have the Rebel 1100. The Shadow has a V-twin, belt drive, etc, it's more of an actual crusier. The Rebel 1100 is a parallel twin, has a standard chain drive, digital guage and features. It's not really a crusier at all, it's more of a naked sportbike with crusier asthetics.

    Thanks for showing the comparison of these bikes. It would be nice to know a lot more about additional technical differences. However, I am disappointed in the quietness of the Honda Rebell 1100. It sounds the same as my Honda Rebel 500. I was looking to upgrade to an 1100, but I am not sure now.

    Seats are uncomfortable, Honda likes blacking out everything (Makes no sense to me), and the Shadow isn't very impressive. It has no reserve, but a low fuel warning light (and that's it) and people would like to ride as long as they can before they fill up to get the most mileage. I mean I don't want to ride a scooter. A motorcycle uniquely holds the title of cheap transportation that a car and a bus can't.

    Honda really should take the 1300 from the Fury and put it in an enlarged Shadow frame. I know the VTX used too exist, and it's a shame they quit making it. But a Shadow 1300 would be sweet.

    • @BrandonWest87
      @BrandonWest87 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had an 05 VTX1300R. The front suspension was SUPER squishy and the forks would bottom out hard with moderate braking. Upgraded to Progressive Springs and 10w fork oil and it made a world of difference. Single riding was fine, but 2 up was surprisingly weak from a stop and felt far more like it wanted to tip over than my R6 did or my Wing does now. The 1800 powerplant would do wonders for the Fury. Makes me wonder why Honda stopped using it. I knew a guy with a VTX1800 who absolutely loved it.

    • @PotatoeJoe69
      @PotatoeJoe69 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BrandonWest87 So it was like stock Harley forks lol my 2020 Softail dives really bad under the most moderate of braking. It's caused me to use my rear brake for like 70% of the stopping power, because it's just an uncomfortable feeling when the nose of the bike dips way down.
      It is a shame the VTX1800 powerplant is gone, and of the bikes they made it's shocking they decided to keep the friggin Fury over the VTX's. You'd think they'd at least have kept the Interstate, which was built off the same frame as the Fury but far more designed for actual cruising.

    • @BrandonWest87
      @BrandonWest87 ปีที่แล้ว

      @MOPARman345 HEMI I’m sure somewhere in their marketing department, the numbers made sense to scrap the VTX and keep the Fury, but from our perspectives, it makes next to no sense haha. Have a good one man!

    If you are going to compare three bikes then why not hit the stats of all three, e.g. weight, number of gears, fuel tank capacity, price, color choices, mpg, accessories, etc? Provide more info/data while you test drive each one. You can ride any motorcycle one mile, they all have turn signals, throttles and brakes so you aren't really covering much while you ride a one mile run.

    Sorry for my ignorance, but how reliable is the engine of the rebel 1100? I want the dct version, but dont know if it matters the dct version to the regular one, like "the version with the dct its full of issues and the regular works better"... dont know if its a bullet proof engine or if its very delicate with a lot of issues

Other then that it runs very good still. I like that Fury maybe my next bike. Stay away from the 750 shadow it doesnt have the legs on the freeway. Stick with 1100 or bigger.
