I have a PE/football story. I had been late for football practice so I was made to run laps around the two football fields where we practiced. It was me and another kid running laps. We had been running in full gear, Helmet. pads, all of it. We were also supposed to be yelling our team Motto as we ran. (Purple Pride Never Dies!) So we were goofing off while we were doing our laps and i started really yelling out the motto super loud as if I was really enjoying our laps. Like it was the greatest thing in the world. I think I was mostly trying to make the girls track team laugh. They were in the next field over. So laughing, yelling and running around and around the field we went. After a while I started seeing little stars floating in my vision. I keep yelling and laughing and running right up till i wasn't. I woke up a few moments later surrounded by my team and my coach. I had totally passed out. I had no idea what had happened. One moment i was like.. cool stars. The next my coach was taking off my helmet and smaking me awake. Coach said I should have drank more water before coming to practice late. Long story longer, I hated football so about a week later I punched a teammate in the locker room and was summarily kicked off the team which made afternoons free again. I used those free afternoons to hangout after school in the art room like I wanted to do in the first place. My folks were not too pleased but I was.
FINALLY!! A DISAGREEMENT!! LOL! This was such a wonderful episode. Oh and by the way,....Sam was totally right with her position on the disagreement!!! LOL! You three are really fantastic together by the way! I feel so much in common with Anthony and often relate to Will and Sam on so many levels! Three mega talents and delightful people all together in the same video. How can you go wrong!?!?! Thanks!!!
🥒⚾️ Paul!! This is such a good episode. Confidence. That is my take away. In custom woodworking, sometimes you just have to step up to the plate and swing hard. I had a project that my boss had screwed up and the customer was not happy. The owner was not there and I had to deal with the fall out and find the solution. I pulled it out of the fire and it was all smiles after the fact. I put it on myself to get there though. Again, confidence.
Great episode! I'm newly retired and looking to add to my income streams. Oh and it's 48 degrees here in Florida right now, watch out for falling iguanas!
🏀one time in middle school I got hit in the face with a basketball because it was being tossed over a crowd and I had my arms up to catch it but failed. It knocked off my glasses and the side of my face went numb 😅 the kid who threw it felt really bad, I still had adrenaline and felt numb instead of pain so I just sat on a bleacher for like 2 minutes so I could feel my face again and then went back in and shot a basket from a pretty far back spot off to the side.
