All the sounds you hear from this album are way before any kind of sampling!! They had to physically do all those sounds then splice tapes re-record and do all kinds of physical magic to get the sounds you're hearing!! Remember they did this with 1972 and 1973 technology!! That's one of the main reasons this album floored so many people!!!
@JAMORIS1 your reaction during David Gilmore's guitar solo at the end was awesome! Great, great, great reaction! Check out "Dreams" by The Cranberries, Woodstock '94! My favorite song ever! 'Comfortably Numb" is #2 and "Hi REN" is #3. I'll definitely be going into a deep dive of your reactions! (Seems like musical geniuses only come every 30 years!)✌🏻❤️
I enjoyed your reaction, glad that you are enjoying the journey into the Pink Floyd rabbit hole, I would like to suggest that whenever you have a chance, pick any Pink Floyd album, turn your phone OFF, lower the lights in the room, put your headphones on, start the album and lay back, listen to the album nonstop from start to finish, as all their albums are meant to be listened too, it will harmonise your Heart, Spirit and Soul, enjoy the journey my Friend, God Bless
💰💵💰💵 In Biblical terms, it's not "money is the root of all evil" But the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil. Money can do remarkable things in the world, it's when it turns to Greed that things start to go south. 💰💵💰💵
The singular greatest album of all time. Beginning to end... simply flawless, deep, artistic and philosophically brilliant. Over 11 years on the weekly top 100 albums list. There is absolutely no comparison to this album, start to finish. And top it off with the most epic album cover of all time. I remember when this album came out. Absolutely astonishing work! A true masterpiece of work from beginning to end. Like no other before or since.
@@katapult9999 My 2nd -- greatest hits compilations and considering only continuity of album theme song-after-song -- is Elton John's Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy. OMG. What a lyrical and musical masterpiece covering a single theme of life's journey from beginning to end. And what a masterpiece of art that cover. My # 3 is Alice Cooper's School's Out. OMG what an album and what an album cover... folding out to a desk that opens with the graffiti underneath. My # 4 is Al Stewart's "Year of the Cat." Jeez. Just OMG jeez! Absolutely the most brilliant lyrics since Shakespeare. # 5 REO Speedwagon (named after a firetruck and whom I am taking my wife to see -- dying of Cancer -- in October this year) "Roll with the Changes". Not the best sound quality (gawd they need to remaster that album). Jeez the lyrics and the musical continuity on theme. This was the era in which artists truly gave of their creative depth. Not like today when somebody can repackage earlier songs and create a new "hit" album using tons of re-mastering and zero writing/performing time and yet claim another "chart topper." You know what I mean. There are plenty of other epic musical albums on my list; Joannie Mitchell's "Blue", Beach Boys "Pet Sounds", Steely Dan's both " Katy Lied" and "The Royal Scam", Three Dog Night pretty much anything (OMG what a band) "Out of the Blue", ELO's " Out of the Blue", and of course Queen's epic "Night at the Opera", etc. etc.
Some years ago I put a DVD of Fritz Lamb's classic silent movie 'Metropolis' on the television, with sound odd And Pink Floyd's CD on the stereo. Cued them both and hit play for both at the same time. It was a magic feast for eyes and ears. And both worked well with each other.
If you want to hear the whole album (how it should be heard, imo), matched with a crazy video, look up "Dark Side of Oz." It's this album played over the Wizard of Oz.
The whole album is the song. Money and Time are parts of a symphony. It's true. Get the any album that Pink Floyd has made and it's always the same structure. Certain parts stand out as hits or singles but the truth is found in the whole. Bless.
It has been said by many experts that David Gilmore can do more with one note than anyone. It's not how many notes or how fast you can play it's all about the quality of the sound.
Yoiu might as well go right into Us and Them next, then Any Colour you Like and Brain Damage/Eclipse. The whole second side of the album. It all runs together as one song.
The first sentence I taught my boys to say was “Pink Floyd is the best band of all time”
😂🔥🔥

@@AdamBazille Did you check out my Hi Ren reaction already!?
@JAMORIS1 Yes! Watching again right now! That's the reaction that made me subscribe! Keep doing what you're doing! 3K subs not far away!

The Wall is just as good as Dark Side of the Moon. Both are masterpieces.
They have so many great songs "Fearless " goes back a ways but it's worth it 🤘
my guy Danny!! 🔥 Adding that one to the request!! 💯
Fearless is awesome! Fearless and Free Four lyrics were "dot matrix" printed and put on my bedroom walls throughout the entirity of the 1980's!
every hippie had this album
Good pick, liked
Music is incalculably better with musical instruments. Forever.

Metropolis my # 2 all time. Good taste, dude. Real good taste.
You have to put your headphones on, turn off all the lights and sit back and listen to the whole album.
Absolutely - astonishing music❤❤❤❤
May I introduce you to Mr. Dave Gilmour...never anyone better
Fewer notes than many thrashers, but better. So much soul and every note counts.
If you want to hear the whole album (how it should be heard, imo), matched with a crazy video, look up "Dark Side of Oz." It's this album played over the Wizard of Oz.
That’s exactly what the song is about! Well done!
Suggestion, watch the official videos of the songs. Adds another level. Of course live as well.
I hear The Doors 🚪 and blues in this musically. Like a John Lee Hooker blues song.
All those sounds at the beginning were from an old time cash register. The kind with the slot machine style arm you had to pull to operate.
The whole album is the song. Money and Time are parts of a symphony. It's true. Get the any album that Pink Floyd has made and it's always the same structure. Certain parts stand out as hits or singles but the truth is found in the whole. Bless.
I'm giving you a sub kid!!!

Would You be so kind as to Qualify "Experts"?
Should do Us and Them if you haven’t done that already.
Yoiu might as well go right into Us and Them next, then Any Colour you Like and Brain Damage/Eclipse. The whole second side of the album. It all runs together as one song.
Just a heads up, when you do vids with no video you should at least try to find a lyric vid. Easier to follow. Loved it though! 💰 🤑
Like he said, lyrics are fired, but the song is soooo boring
