The absence of stock investments has left me with a sense of remorse, albeit I'm appreciative of my decision to maintain funds in the money market. With roughly $200k nearing maturity, I'm gearing up to step into the stock market. Could you advise me on suitable stocks for a beginner looking to steadily increase their capital?

Considering seeking counsel? Engaging with a financial advisor is worth exploring. While independent management is feasible, financial advisors bring a depth of knowledge and expertise to the table.

The significance of advisors often goes unrecognized until emotions cloud judgment. I remember a couple of summers ago, during a challenging divorce, when I needed significant assistance to sustain my business. Turning to licensed advisors, I discovered someone highly qualified. Despite inflation, she played a crucial role in boosting my reserves from $275k to $850k.

Finance and Business books have been so helpful. I’m 50 and my husband 55 we are both retired with over $3 million in net worth and no debts. Currently living smart and frugal with our money. No longer putting blames on FED for our misfortunes. Saving and investing lifestyle in the stock market made it possible for us this early, even till now we earn weekly.

You have done great for yourself. I understand the fact that tomorrow isn't promised to anyone, but investing today is a hard thing to do for me now because I have no idea of how and where to invest in. I would be happy if you could advise me based on how you went about yours, as I am ready to go the passive income path.

Competition isnt a reason when yiu realize it doesn't matter how many people do something, it will either proper or it won't regardless of 10 or 100 people doing it.

As an investing enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?

some people only tend to take their financial life serious when approaching retirement, no offense intended. I suggest you discuss with a proper advisor for financial/investment planning, with that you can meet your growth goals

True, a lot of folks downplay the role of advisors, until being burnt by their own emotions. Amid covid-19 pandemic crash, I needed a good strategy to grow my portfolio, thus consulted the service of a true market strategist that helped rejuvenate my $700k portfolio, boosting its return over 240% as of today.. it's exciting to share !

I will tend to disagree with the second guy who says that you must outwork everybody to go to the top faster because what happened to me is that everyone elses was just hanging and not doing much and i did their work as well and even come up with plans to better the company and at the end of the day when promotion comess i was discipline and the job was given to someone else. I even end up in hospital and when i got back my seniors didn't even ask how i was doing that shows me that they don't care at all about you.

though I invest some in crypto, what the black project manager said is not the correct way to invest. it should be in index funds and long term mutual funds/ETFs, and Fortune 500 companies. 5-8% is ok in crypto. if you're young and have the money, it's ok for you to invest 10-30% cuz you have your whole lifetime to earn more. for older people, IT'S A BIG RISK because they can't afford to lose their 10-30%.

As someone who has been in crypto since 2016 and made off with 600% gains and started DCAing into Bitcoin since December of last year at 16k, now is the best time to get into crypto because the Bitcoin halving is in 5 months and this cycle is just starting.
