...but pronunciation! Okay, but so what? It doesn't change anything. It's still another Egyptian name regardless of how locals might pronounce it. There are lots of names from all over the world, and often repeated from State to State. There is a Miami in both Oklahoma and Ohio. It's interesting, but doesn't mean much.

Baby alligators are actually quite harmless. When they get to about two feet then they get moved to a new enclosure. This is quite normal. Gatorland has baby alligators people can pet but they get moved to a large enclosure once they get a certain size. The oldest known alligator on record is 60 years old, a massive 15 feet long, and weighs 2000 pounds. It took 20 men to move the alligator to a place specifically designed to house it. That alligator gets a deer a day with tons of chicken parts for snacks.

fishing and hunting are MASSIVE activities in the U.S. they are SOOO popular, the local governments actually have to put limit restrictions on how many of each you can catch each season.
Also, Louisiana's Motto is "Sportsman's Paradise".... this doesn't mean team sports, but recreational sports which also include hunting and fishing and trapping, along with boating, skiing, diving, and others.... just about anything outdoors. I also live in Springfield, Mo and, I don’t care what Wikipedia says, as far as Bass Pro Shops go, because the one in Springfield is the first one ever, it proudly boasts the saying over the front doors going in that this store is “ The Granddaddy of ‘em all”. The store itself is amazing but when you take the day & walk through the “Wonders Of Wildlife Museum & Aquarium”, I don’t know how one can honestly walk out & think, “ Yeah, the pyramid is bigger”. Lol

Hi Andre, I’m from Memphis the Pyramid is huge original built for U of M basketball and cultural events went there many times. It was called the (Tomb of Doom) because the basketball team had such a winning record at home. The Mississippi River has a huge impact on Memphis from trucks going over the bridge with cargo and barges on the river with supplies. We are also the home to Fed Ex, Graceland (Elvis) rock n roll, blues (Beale Street) great bbq and other southern comfort food. Also home to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital their goal end childhood cancer. Many more interesting places. Love to have you visit.

Yeah I was wondering why the video didn't mention that it was built for the Tigers, not the Grizz. Grizz only played there a couple of years. And thanks for clearing up the meaning behind "tomb of doom". When the guy said it was because of... whatever he said lol, I was like noooo it's because the Tigers kicked some tail in that building lol

Yesterday while you were uploading this video we were at the Pyramid. We go every few weeks because it is pet friendly and great place to train my dog. We had lunch, the restaurant downstairs is now Wahlburgers, walked around, spent money we didn't need to, just had a pleasant morning. Kinda weird how life works sometimes, yesterday was the first time I noticed the bowling alley.

I've been to this bass pro shop. It is quite the place! This guy showed everything that was there besides the hotel. I never got to see the hotel either, though it seems incredible. From what I remember during the elevator ride, there's a little speech about how they decided to put the Bass Pro Shop into the pyramid. They were fishing and made a bet on the size of the following fish they would catch, and if it were that size or larger, they would put a Bass Pro Shop in the pyramid. They have ducks that live in the pyramid, and there are boats attached to docks floating on one of the ponds.
Not far from here is the Peabody Hotel. They have ducks that they keep in a penthouse on the roof, and they come down the elevator in the morning to a fountain in the lobby and stay there all day, then go back up to their penthouse later in the day. There is a whole ceremony for when they come out of the elevator! That view from the top is one of the best views in Memphis. There were window washers when I was up there cleaning the outside of that pyramid. 17:17 That is the I-40 bridge. 20:35 On the far left of that peninsula with the apartments is a park with a scale topographical model of the entire length of the Mississippi that can be filled with water so it flows like the real one. I can't remember the scale, but I think the model is a quarter or half a mile long. P.S. Pause as much as you want.

@@calendarpageCollege sports are HUGE in the US. 8 out of the 10 biggest stadium seating capacities in the entire world are USA college football stadiums and they are regularly filled to the brim as well. College sports are much older than pro sports in the US and there are much more stadiums in every state and are much easier to get to so they are actually much more popular than professional sports as well.

Memphis, Tennessee, is famous for being the home of Elvis Presley and his home Graceland. Graceland is now a museum where thousands visit Elvis' home and view his numerous musical awards. Memphis as you see also has its own pyramid. The Memphis Pyramid is two-thirds of the size of the Great Pyramid in Egypt and has been empty at various times.
Oh BTW, the state of Tennessee also has a full-size replica of the Parthenon complete with a towering statue of the goddess Athena inside.
