How do you get hype for a showcase? They're going to show us stuff that may or may not come out. They may shadow drop some games. You then continue on with your day. If it isn't coming out within the next 30 days, it pretty much doesn't exist.

Kudos for Andy for saying that there are lots of people who dont watch Directs, Showcases and go into endless rabbit roles on Reddit, Twitter, and TH-cam. There are plenty of people who just go to the store (or check digitally) and buy the games they want to play, like Call of Duty. My brother buys every single COD release, and even buys the Collectors Editions when they come out. He has never watched a single Showcase, Direct, Worldwide Reveal, has never seen a single broadcast of the game awards. He just loves Call of Duty, has a large friend group that plays all of the games.
Ubisoft announced Star Wars Outlaws at the xbox showcase last year. So them showing the first trailer for the Splinter Cell Remake with more details at the Ubi Forward makes a lot of sense. Especially when the original Splinter Cell was timed exclusive on the OG xbox and Splinter Cell Conviction was full exclusive on 360, the franchise has so much connection to Xbox.
Just getting to this, Call of Duty being the showcase afterwards makes the most sense. Millions of people play it, and its the biggest fruit of the Acitvison acquisition. More people will watch the Xbox showcase simply because of Call of Duty afterwards.

Not really sure how you can be a 6.5 or a 6 for this and any higher for anything else this summer (Except maybe Nintendo). A PlayStation Showcase probably isn’t until *at least* September, if there is one this year. The SGF show is what it is. Same for something like Ubisoft. This is *the* showcase for the summer. Even if you're not an Xbox player, it's likely where some third-party games will also be shown. If this showcase is disappointing, then this summer will be horrible, in general.

It’s literally the ideal place to show off one of the biggest names in gaming, and a crown jewel for GamePass. Not to mention they implied not many mainstream eyes will be tuning in to that, I remember Starfield’s Direct having a good number of views quickly and is currently at 3M views. The CoD views are going to be wild, especially if they really innovated with an open world this time.
It's always so weird having the digital collabs because it feels like they just have no real chance at input unless the in-person people put a hard stop on the conversation and go "what do you think floating head"

I think that comment from Jeff was to cover his butt because it's supposed to show up this year but I still do believe impressions are not AAAA impressions and probably closer to something like Immortals of Avium. Hope I'm wrong. I really want a good perfect dark.

It’s literally the ideal place to show off one of the biggest names in gaming, and a crown jewel for GamePass. Not to mention they implied not many mainstream eyes will be tuning in to that, I remember Starfield’s Direct having a good number of views quickly and is currently at 3M views. The CoD views are going to be wild, especially if they really innovated with an open world this time.

I don't get the hype some of you guys have. I'm with Blessing, and Andy for sure. I think the biggest problem is that theyve now had 1-2 showcases that havent amounted to anything to this date. We're STILL waiting for the dominos to drop. Third party games are great, and Xbox has those but those are not a reason to be hyped about the XBOX showcase.
So then there’s nothing you they can show you in the showcase that’ll excite you. No point in even consuming media dedicated to the showcase. Why are you here?
