This city is definitely high up on our list on our year of travel! It looks incredible. Such an incredible looking old town. The fact you shared about how they built all the houses the same to avoid fighting among citizens was fascinating! Also, we would absolutely love that Game of Thrones tour that you did. That looks super cool. Thanks so much for all the great tips on the city!
Many thanks! Adventure is a muscle we build. Keep doing adventurous things and a year from now you'll be amazed all the adventurous things you've done!
Thanks for this wonderful vlog guys. no second thought why you got to stop in the middle of carrying luggage to shoot. This is truly a magical place and high on my bucket list. Hope to visit there soon. Thanks for all the useful tips and all the information of this place.
We have just come back and loved Dubrovnik so much! It is such a magical and stunning place. We also absolutely loved Lokrum! ❤ Thank you for inspiring us to go there!
Great video, you always have very helpful advice and info presented in a professional manner. Fun to watch as well while you go about your adventures. Keep up the good work. 🙂
Dubrovnik is definitely a bucket list destination for us. Your faces at the start of the video said it all 🤩 you’re so right, doesn’t look like the city has any bad angles 💁🏻♀️📸 but it looks especially magical at night ⭐️ Love your salsa dancing as usual! So great that you attended an event outside of the city and that you made a new friend. Ooh, that tuna sandwich…never seen one like it 🤤 So jealous of your Game of Thrones tour!!! Lol Kendra’s smile on her walk of shame 😁😅 You fitted in so much during your stay! Looking forward to seeing your tours 🤗
Definitely want to go to Dubrovnik one day. It looks so beautiful 😍. Thanks for sharing guys. Great video. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺 😀 ... Kevin and Ange
Great video Dubrovnik is so magical & unique 🤩 Love that you made a new friend & danced the afternoon away! Its crazy the price differences inside/outside the old town - there's so much to see & do in the area!
We would love to visit Dubrovnik someday 😁 I really enjoyed seeing your initial reactions visiting the city 🙌 the architecture and views are so beautiful. Aww and how cool you met a fellow salsaier (I am probably spelling that wrong 😆) oh my the price of the drinks in Old Town 😖 Um I would have a hard time keeping Skylar from jumping off some of those cliffs 😆 Mmm mmm I would sure want to try that chocolate 😁
That would be a fellow salsero or salsera. I can actually imagine Skylar cliff jumping. We’re not at that level yet though. I can also imagine you loving that chocolate. It was so good!
Loved the dancing. Been there btw, recognised just about all that your presented, brought back memories. I stayed in the hills above Dubrovnik old-town, facing the Adriatic sea. But my trip started in Montenegro for a couple of weeks, then crossed the boarder, and once in Croatia I travelled to many areas in Croatia - worth hiring a vehicle in each area - eg Split 10 days, Dubrovnik a few weeks, Korcular\Brna a couple of weeks, and so on. But it was a great trip, and yours looks adventurous and thoroughly enjoyed:)) Thanks.
Agh how beautiful is this place!! Hahaha I love how you had found another fellow traveler who knew salsa! If our paths will cross one day you should teach us as we are terrible dancers lol What's the place called where you stopped for a drink and danced with a new friend? Good to know about the concerts at church! Love free walking tours and of course Steve is a huge fan of GoT! Buza Bar seems to be an amazing spot, wow! This was an amazing video, can't wait to see the next one!
Thanks guys! We have no idea the name of the place but the city walls have two bars where you can get a drink. It’s a good thing too because it was a long walk and we did not bring any water.
I would love the Game of Thrones tour and checking out some of the sites from the show. The water views from the city walls are so beautiful there. I can't wait to visit Dubrovnik one day. The chocolate looked tasty!!
I would even recommend to rent a scooter to explore around small cities and hidden beaches few minutes away from Dubrovnik by scooter. Easy to park, you are free to go anytime (Mlini, Catvat, Srebreno, ect)
Great Video! Really enjoyed and learned a lot. Did you plan everything before you reached there or are you able to find these attractions easily? Thanks!
We had a list of things we wanted to do, but we did not pre-book any activities. I would recommend going down to the port and booking a boat tour as soon as you arrive. That's the only activity that may fill up. All the walking tours and the city walls don't really have a capacity limit so you can show up whenever you want. The only thing we booked in advance was our accommodation.
We stumbled across your channel when looking for ideas on Croatia. We're planning a trip there next month and want your opinion on best bang for our buck. With 12 days in Croatia, we are considering 5 nights in Dubrovnik, 4 nights in Split, 3 nights in Hvar. Is this a good idea or would you recommend visiting 2 cities instead of 3? Thanks for any recommendations. Victor
I'm going to Dubrovnik in October for 4 days I want to take some day trips I will be staying in center of Old Town but looks like its a distance from where the tours pick you up what's the best way to get from old to bus station is it walkable?
All tours pick up from Old Town and they will transport you to the boat for your day trip. Also there’s a bus stop right outside the city walls should you need it.
We did two day trips so two days but it all depends on what interests you. You have four options of day trips Lokram, Elaphite Islands, Mostar, and Kotor. So if you want to do all four you would need four days.

I'm headed there in September so trying to get a feel for what I need to preplan
We had a list of things we wanted to do, but we did not pre-book any activities. I would recommend going down to the port and booking a boat tour as soon as you arrive. Is this your second time in Dubrovnik or Croatia? I thought I saw some older videos of you there and at the lakes, or?
Yep this is our first time in Croatia. We spent 6 weeks there and yes made a video about the lakes as well.
We stumbled across your channel when looking for ideas on Croatia. We're planning a trip there next month and want your opinion on best bang for our buck. Hi Victor! I think your plan sounds great! I think you will have enough time to enjoy each place, so keep it as is.
I haven’t been for years and am very jealous.
We understand! We miss the magic of this place ourselves!

Hi what is the best way to go to mostar from dubrovnik
There’s a bus that goes once a day. You can as take a tour. gyg.me/USpGeohR
Thank you😊@@LucasWorldTravel
didn't you take the cablecar up the mountain?
Nope, we decided to skip that attraction, but hear people enjoy it.
How long would you recommend to stay with added day trips?
We did two day trips so two days but it all depends on what interests you. You have four options of day trips Lokram, Elaphite Islands, Mostar, and Kotor. So if you want to do all four you would need four days.
